Oh Amazon product naming is so annoying. Why is it "AWS Glue" but not "AWS Athena"? Why is Relational Database Service always "RDS" but Database Migration Service is referred to by it's full name? Why is it "Amazon Redshift" and "Amazon QLDB" but NOT "Amazon Neptune"? Why do any of the names need to contain "Amazon" or "AWS"? There's no logic to any of it. Then you get the hideous double whammy of concatenation AND acronyms such as the lovely "Amazon FreeRTOS", I guess they pushed that one out the day Marketing were all at a conference or something.
Because Amazon want to sell you its certificates
cute
this names also bothered me sometimes, thanks for doing the digging fo me 😉
Cheers
'Route 53' is also unique. An actual reference to an obscure aspect of the product. They could have followed that pattern a bit more.
Wow did not see that one!
Should just be AWS DNS...
A new one arises!
AWS Zelkova........ a tree, well at least it's in theme with Amazon, the rain forest?
