Love this post, Diana! I've been wanting to get more knowledgeable about accessibility so that I'm able to build more accessible apps and side projects.

Also, as someone with a background in customer support, it's so true that it gives us a unique perspective into the user experience that is all too often overlooked by other departments in organizations. (Hopefully this changes over time!)
