I strongly believe that the pure use of OOP is simply overrated, aside from the examples that you have mentioned above I would like to see a full-blown application using nothing but OOP concepts and it actually works. I know that in Java-land that is all that could have been done for a long time so everything was a class but OOP everything is simply just not feasible and I think a lot of developers know it.
