Ohh, I thought I was able to run it, since running elasticsearch with the install archive method (mentioned above) works. I even managed to run it with the Debian Package method (Though it installs latest stable 7.7.x, which isn't recommended by DEV), with the command sudo -i service elasticsearch start (init), their Debian guide recommends checking !

I don't get any errors printed in either of them, and even bin/setup prints output for the Elasticsearch part. Here's the output that I get for bin/setup. I also get correct output when I send a cURL GET request via curl -X GET "localhost:9200/?pretty"
. Not that familiar with how elasticsearch works in case there is a different aspect that isn't working!
