Great post Mary - learning environments/cultures are really important for sustained team member happiness and productivity. I've also strongly encouraged time-boxed learning activities at regular intervals in many of the teams I've joined; brown bag lunches, book clubs, using internal messaging platforms to share relevant contents, etc.
In some cases, this culture hasn't been "sticky" enough to survive the loss of the learning champions, but in some cases it has.

We strive for transparency and don't collect excess data.
