Automation consultant. I build AI-powered workflows using Claude, n8n, and open-source tools. Sharing practical guides on AI agents, no-code automation, and cost optimization.
The "wrapper vs platform" distinction is underrated. Most of the $20/mo AI tools I've audited for clients are just a prompt template + a UI + a token margin — the actual reasoning quality is whatever the underlying foundation model gives you. Where I still see wrappers surviving: deep verticalized workflows with hard-won domain data, proprietary connectors/auth to enterprise systems, and audit/compliance layers. Everything else is a checkbox feature on the next Claude/Gemini release.
