Hi! I'm Helen, one of your AWS Heroes! At the end of each month, I'll be showcasing some of the great posts, projects, and insights from the AWS community right here on Dev.to.
Our first post of the month is from Christina who continues the ExamPro #100DaysofCloud series with a post on all the services starting with 'Cloud'
Next, we have AWS Hero Veliswa with the story of preparing for, and passing, three Associate-level AWS certification exams. Check out the inspiring story and how the community is a part of Veliswa's success.
CloudBart then provides a handy checklist for workloads running in AWS VPCs which need to access the internet or be accessed from the internet. This is a great checklist for beginners and those more comfortable.
Next, Shawn shows us Amplify DataStore - a persistent on-device storage repository for you to write, read, and observe changes to data if you are online or offline, and seamlessly sync to the cloud as well as across devices.
Catalin then gives some great advice on how to set up your AWS budget. Unfortunately, it is very easy to over-spend money in AWS, and you do not want that.
Earlier this month AWS announced a brand new program, AWS Community Builders, which provides resources and support to builders who are passionate about knowledge sharing and getting more involved in AWS Communities! If you'd like to find out how you can get involved check out this video from AWS Hero Andrew
To finish up the wrap-up Moneer presents a great read on the growth of the industry and demand for Cloud Engineers. Check it out for some inspiration.
