As a "just keep what I'm actually using open" kind of person, this tweet offends me 🤣

I'm trying to break out of this habit. Not because I want to but most websites these days make no effort to optimize for lower spec devices.

It started like that for me. I grow up on a humble home and my computer was never good enough to have lots of things running at the same time, so I tend to just have open what I need (tabs, apps/processes, etc). Nowadays I have "gaming" computers and "M1 Macs" and still try to keep the open stuff to a minimum 🤣

Chrome add this tab groups thingy for us 😍
Now I've a category called "Project" another one called "Learning", another one called "Courses" (because Learning got crowded AF), another one called "Tools", oh and there it is "Project2" as well.

Whenever you open one of those you can barely see the favicon of each side. Guess what means... I may need a monitor with higher pixel count! 😅

It gets to the point where I have to split groups out into extra windows so I can see what I'm doing.

I've also got an extension installed that auto suspends tabs that haven't been used in a while to save resources.

Chrome does that by default since long time ago 😅 You can delete the extension now to save some extra-resources 😁

Actually, Chrome consumes way less RAM than Opera and FireFox (didn't tested Edge nor Safari).
