Using images in a code-centric website

github logo ・1 min read

Hey everyone, I am developing/designing/rebuilding a website the primary content of which is code snippets (format is usually a title, some tags, short description, short explanation and source code).

  • How would you incorporate images to make the website less mundane and help developers find content?

  • How would you find relevant imagery for each piece of content in a semi-automated way?

  • Do you know of any image resources that are free and would complement such content?

  • Do you know of any websites that use images to make their code-centric content stand out?

Note: Website can be found here if you want to take a look.
