Well, this is my first post here and it's not gonna be technical at all. Since 2017, while I was still in high school, I had my first touch with Blockchain. By then, I was not even interested in the technology involved in it, but the money that it could make me ($$).
I did well on it, but after that, I got interested in the actual technology besides the particular cryptocurrencies. As a developer, I was very confused because of this new paradigm (at least for me) but I kept learning. Sometime after, I just gave up because my mind was just thinking how the hell am I going to get an actual job with this technology in my country
Two years after (now), in my first year in college, I realized that I like the blockchain industry and it's the one I want to develop products for. Before I realized this, I started learning Django because it was easier to get a local job with it. I don't regret though.
Finally, as of now, I'm taking a React course and I've been touching Solidity creating basic smart contracts and I'm feeling so comfortable. I will keep going and hopefully, I'll be able to share my knowledge here through some posts!
My expectations are having a good understanding of how blockchain and smart contracts (for eth) work, distributed system and getting good enough with the React stack & some Go.
If you are in the industry and you have some tips, let me know!
TLDR; Years ago I touched blockchain for the first time (just cryptocurrencies, not technology) and now I'm very excited about learning how blockchain works & get good enough to develop products in the top of it and hopefully share my knowledge in blog posts here!
