These holidays I had some spare time and I was able to think a bit about what I want to do with it. That's a luxury: to have time to think about what to do with your spare time. I spent some great time with my family, did all the Christmas-y things, but I also wanted to make use of this little time I had before going back to work.
A long time ago, I used to write and I seem to have forgotten how to do it properly. I also like to think that I find a lot of interesting things on the internet and I would like to share it with people who are interested in similar subjects. Facebook and other channels were great, but I don't like the direction they're going.
I no longer find social media suitable for such things. My tweets get lost in a sea of political posts, while if I post on Facebook I am not sure if my posts get anywhere unless I pay to promote them.
So I decided to start writing a newsletter. This way, I am certain that I can reach people who are interested in the same subjects as I am. It's more sincere, straightforward and hopefully it can open up some conversations in the long run.
"Tab & Space" is a newsletter that will cover creative coding, in general, and with Processing and P5.js in particular. Other subjects will include generative art and design, plus everything in between. The newsletter will come in the form of a list of things that I find interesting, along with a small commentary about them.
