I really like this post. A long time ago I changed how I spoke about my time to learn and do new things. I used to always say that I don't "have" the time to do the new thing. I had the realization that I can cut out or cut back on things that aren't important or necessary when I really take the time to look at them. Now, when I haven't gotten around to something I say I haven't "made" the time to do it. It has helped me tremendously. I recognize that I haven't done something, which may be for a good reason, and I also remind myself that it is up to me in how I spend the time I have available to me. If I haven't gotten something done it is because I haven't put in the effort to get it done.
