Double-scrollbar issue spotted on the code example slide.

Better than three 😅

Does it happens in a deck or in the remote? On which OS/browser?

I guess not Mac as I don't see any scrollbar in any of my test browsers. Thx for the feedback in advance.

Happens on MacOS 10.14 and Windows 10 pro latest.

I configured my mac to always display scroll bars when needed (Appearance > Scroll bar behaviour > Always).

It was on the deckdeckgo demo, the issue's usually because the scroll behaviour is set to always show scrollbars, even when not needed (overflow: scroll). I guess the expected behaviour would rather be overflow: auto.

Merci Diane 👍

I tried the demo on my Mac with the scroll bar behavior set to "always" on faced "only" one scrollbar (better than three or even two 😉).

The thing is, it's already set to overflow: auto (see screenshot). As the content is bigger than its height aka as the content produces an overflow, having a scrollbar is correct right? or I'm missing something?

That being said, two scrollbars is definitely weird. I'm not sure how to reproduce this 🤔

One scrollbar's expected, especially if the user is explicitly forcing it shown (and I don't mind that, it's what I expect by using Always).

Two is definitely weird, though.

Could you give the direct link towards this page? I can't seem to find it again. I'll check on my browser

Agree with you, I think we have the same understanding.

Sure here's the link to the demo or the link to the specific page of the demo.

Are you still facing the issue?

Thank you for your time, really appreciated.

Can't reproduce it on my Linux (using Firefox 70), gonna try on my windows (also firefox) once I get home.

Weird. Cool if you could give it a try again on Windows with FF.

Keep me posted and again, merci beaucoup pour les efforts et le temps que tu investis, super sympa 👍

Just tried on Windows, Firefox 70.0.1, the page doesn't have both scrollbars anymore.

The <code> tag inside the deckgo-highlight-code component had a overflow: scroll, which has been replaced by a overflow-y: var(--deckgo-highlight-code-scroll,scroll);.

(I can attest for the original behaviour because I didn't clear my cache and was still seeing both scrollbars, which allowed me to debug the old behaviour and compare it with the new behaviour I got once I cleared my cache).

That's so weird, as far as I know I didn't released, I think, something regarding this css 🤣 Maybe an old cache?

Anyway, that's super duper cool that you took the time to analyze this and I'm really happy to hear that it is solved (at least not two scrollbars).

That being said, I should keep that in mind and an eye on it! Definitely!

Again merci beaucoup, vraiment hyper cool 🙏

I told you that adding those tags would help! Congrats!
