Socialcode.club is dead. I'm marking it as a failed experiment. Working on it reminded me how much I dislike CRUD style applications. All is not lost though. Along the way I made tiny-validator and have another idea for making a database backed workflow toolkit that reduces CRUD boilerplate.
The main reason I started that project was because I wanted to make a tool for people to coordinate coffee shop coding meetings but got lost in all the frontend issues and CRUD boilerplate. Making a simple workflow engine will let me explore the concept on my own terms and has a higher chance of being completed because it is a closer to a domain I'm familiar with and enjoy working in.
This concludes another episode of fail early and fail often but don't forget to extract valuable lessons along the way.
