I've written a thing, Secure Passwords for Windows, as a guide for the casual Windows user to have secure passwords synchronized between their computer and Android devices; I haven't regularly used Windows in nearly a year.
My partner, who is... command line averse, currently stores her passwords in a plain text file on her phone. Clearly, this is unacceptable. Two days of 'figuring it out' later, and here we are with a record of our experiences in making this as painless as possible.
I'd like for this document to be able to help other people, but I use Linux/Android and her setup is essentially complete. Not only that, but the only eyes on it have been mine.
I need guinea pigs!
If you think this could be helpful, or just have time/energy/inclination, could you give this sequence a shot and let me know how it goes?
Also, how can I make it better?
Also also, how do you synchronize your passwords right now?
