Oh, I agree with what you said I just wanted to elaborate the idea that you should get your name in front of as many people as possible because I saw people sending crappy generic cover letter to hundreds of companies hoping someone will reply (and they almost never did).

In the beginning of your career, cover letter is important as your experience is limited. Companies hire juniors based on their potential and passion, not knowledge. That being said, I agree with you about different approach once you had a job in the industry.

It truly is. Without the doubt my least favourite part of job hunting!
