5 skills I improved upon last year as a beginner developer

TOUCH TYPING
I could type fast, but with just my two index fingers and I frequently stared at the keyboard. I started typing with all of my fingers and without staring at the keyboard. I am cool now.😉

MASTERED A CODE EDITOR
I realised that switching between code editors wasn’t helpful. So I decided to target just one briefly – Sublime Text. I learned Sublime Text’s shortcuts and its other intricacies. I will hopefully move on to VS Code as that is much compatible with my favourite language – JavaScript.

GIT
Learning git was a considerable addition to my repertoire. Rather than focusing on just memorising commands, I delved into how git works. I have got a cheat sheet in case I forget some commands😘

COMMAND LINE
This was really really cool. I have a geek friend who could do some cool stuff with windows’ command prompt. That’s when I learned deeply about batch files. From there, I moved on to simple directory navigation, creating folders and files, deletion etc.

PROPER DEBUGGING
My goto debugging wizard was console.log. I came to learn about console.trace, breakpoints and a whole lot of cool stuff.

What other skill do you suggest I focus on this year now that I am almost intermediate?
