Today I Learned About Habit Tracking, and It Changed My Perspective

Today, I learned about Habit Tracking during my internship session, and honestly, I didn't expect such a simple idea to be so useful.

Before today, I thought a habit tracker was just a checklist where you mark your daily tasks. But after the session, I realized it's much more than that.

A habit tracker helps us keep track of our daily habits and manage our activities in a better way. It shows us how we spend our time and helps us understand whether we are using our day productively or just staying busy.

The best part is that we don't need any special software. We can create a habit tracker using Google Sheets. We can divide our daily tasks into different categories, track them every day, and even calculate our consistency in percentages. Over time, we can clearly see our progress and identify the areas where we need to improve.

One thing that really caught my attention was how it can reduce procrastination. When all your pending tasks are visible in front of you, your mind naturally wants to complete them. Instead of forgetting important work, you become more focused on finishing it.

This was one of the most valuable lessons I learned in today's internship session. I believe that using a habit tracker will help me stay more organized, improve my productivity, and build better discipline in my daily life.

I think building good habits is one of the best ways to become valuable—not only for others but also for ourselves.

When I started my internship at TalentGrow Global, I thought SEO was simply about ranking a website on Google. But as I learned from real-world projects, I realized SEO is much bigger than that. It is about helping people find the right information at the right time.

Today, whenever we have a question, we don't wait—we simply search on Google. Within seconds, Google shows us the most relevant results. Have you ever wondered how that happens?

The answer is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

During my internship, I learned that SEO is not just a skill for digital marketers. It is a valuable skill for students, developers, business owners, content creators, freelancers, and anyone who wants to build an online presence.

If your content can't be found, it can't create an impact."

What is SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of improving a website so that search engines like Google can understand its content and show it to the right audience.

Think of SEO as giving Google clear directions. The better your website is organized, the easier it becomes for Google to recommend it to users.

2. How Does Google Find Websites?

One of the most interesting things I learned during my internship was how Google actually discovers websites.

Google uses automated programs called Googlebot(also known as web crawlers).

These bots continuously visit websites across the internet and follow three important steps:

1. Crawling

Googlebot discovers web pages by following links from one page to another.

2. Indexing

After crawling, Google analyzes the page and stores useful information in its massive database called the Google Index.

3. Ranking

Whenever someone searches for something, Google compares millions of indexed pages and ranks the best ones based on hundreds of ranking factors.

This entire process can be summarized as:

Crawl → Index → Rank

Once I understood this process, SEO started making much more sense.

Types of SEO

During my internship at TalentGrow Global, I learned that SEO is mainly divided into three major categories.

1. On-Page SEO

On-Page SEO refers to everything you optimize inside your website.

Imagine someone recommends your work to others. That recommendation increases trust.

Google thinks similarly.

The more trustworthy websites mention or link to your content, the stronger your website's authority becomes.

However, quality always matters more than quantity.

One backlink from a trusted website is often more valuable than dozens of low-quality links.

Why Every Student Should Learn SEO

Before my internship, I believed SEO was only for digital marketers.

Now I think every student should learn the basics because SEO is useful in almost every field.

SEO helps people discover your work.

It doesn't matter how good your content is if nobody can find it.

My Biggest Learning
