I Built an AI Personal Stylist for the App Store — Meet HERsuit

A little over a year ago, I had an idea.

I wanted to build an app that could help people answer one question we all ask:

"What should I wear today?"

That idea eventually became HERsuit, an AI-powered personal styling app that is now available on the Apple App Store.

What does HERsuit do?

Instead of buying new clothes, users upload the clothes they already own into a digital closet.

From there, the app can:

👕 Generate outfit recommendations
👖 Style around specific clothing pieces
📅 Help plan outfits for upcoming events
❤️ Save favorite outfits
👤 Preview outfits on a customizable virtual avatar
🤖 Learn user preferences over time

The goal is simple:

Help people get more out of the wardrobe they already have.

Launching an app is only half the challenge.

Building it was difficult.

Getting people to discover it has been an entirely different challenge.

I've been experimenting with different marketing channels while continuing to improve the product based on feedback.

I'm continuing to add new features and improve the styling experience.

Some recent additions include:

Virtual avatar styling
Event reminders
Starter closets for new users
Better outfit recommendations
Improved onboarding

I'm excited to keep building and learning.
