But most users we talked to already have access to OpenAI, Claude, Kimi, DeepSeek, or other providers. They don't want more credits they just want to build.</p> <p>That's why we leaned into BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) and eventually made Ideavo free.</p> <p>What surprised us was how much users value transparency. When they connect their own providers, they understand their costs, can switch models whenever they want, and don't have to wonder how platform credits are being consumed.</p> <p>It also changed how we think about AI app builders.
