Introducing MegasMoves

I'm Abhinav Musrif, a 22-year-old software developer and solo founder of Amretra Dynamics, based in India.

Today, I'm sharing MegasMoves, an open-source project I've been developing to explore a fundamental challenge in agent infrastructure:

How do we connect software agents to real devices, applications, and workflows through a consistent, permission-controlled execution layer?

GitHub: https://github.com/Amretra-Dynamics/megasmoves

The problem I'm trying to solve

Software agents can reason, generate code, and interact with APIs. But operating real user devices introduces additional challenges:

Different operating systems expose different capabilities.

Device operations require explicit permissions and security boundaries.

Browser sessions, application windows, files, and processes have their own state.

Tasks can fail, disconnect, or require human intervention.

Integrations need predictable interfaces instead of unrestricted system access.

MegasMoves is my attempt to build infrastructure around these challenges.

 What is MegasMoves?

MegasMoves is a cross-device software automation platform built around the Model Context Protocol (MCP), native application integrations, and local execution runtimes.

The vision is simple:

Your always-on SI agent for all your devices.

Rather than focusing on building another chat interface, I'm working on the execution layer that allows compatible agents to interact with software environments.

 A look at the architecture

MegasMoves is organized into several components:

Megas Runtime: Python-based capability orchestration and runtime management.

MegasMCP: Typed MCP interfaces through which compatible clients can request supported operations.

Megas Browser: A Chromium/Playwright-based browser operation layer with managed sessions and approval boundaries.

Native desktop components: Platform-specific integrations, including a WinUI 3 Windows application and native development for other operating systems.

Android integration: A Kotlin-based mobile application surface.

Megas Actions: Local task organization and scoped workspace references.

The longer-term goal is to make these components work together reliably while keeping permissions, execution state, and device boundaries explicit.

 Getting started

The project exposes a command-line interface named
megas
.

pip install megasmoves
megas connect

The
connect
command starts the local MCP interface for compatible clients.

Please refer to the repository for implementation details and current platform support. This is an early release, so capabilities and reliability are still evolving.

 Why I'm releasing it now

I could keep developing privately for much longer. But I believe real feedback from developers is essential to deciding what to build and improve next.

I'm sharing MegasMoves early to learn which integrations are most useful, identify problems in real environments, and connect with people interested in developer tools, automation, operating systems, and agent infrastructure.

I'm not presenting this as a finished, production-hardened platform.

It's an active engineering project, and there is plenty left to improve.

 I'd love your feedback

If you work on MCP, developer tooling, browser automation, systems engineering, or software agents, I'd especially like to know:

What device or application capability would you want an agent to access?

What security and permission controls would you expect?

Which problems have you encountered when connecting agents to real software environments?

GitHub: https://github.com/Amretra-Dynamics/megasmoves

Launch announcement: https://x.com/MegasMoves/status/2109350461476422033

If this project interests you, explore the repository, share your feedback, or consider contributing.

Thanks for reading!
