Over the past years I bet you would have heard devs and engineers throw about jargons like "the cloud", "in the cloud",severless and cloud computing and never really had a good grasp of what exactly they meant.

Maybe you do have an idea, you know what Google says about the cloud but there's that feeling to know more, beyond the basics. To know what the cloud is all about, why choose cloud computing, what are it's benefits, how safe and secure is the cloud, what about the cost associated, what was in use before cloud computing.

Initially my goal was to make this post the first of a number of series where I shared what I learnt during my cloud computing journey but then I thought of somethng better how about I curate a list of free virtual events organized by companies in the cloud industry like Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform and share it on here.
