Rapid urbanization necessitates the development of novel and challenging solutions for the infrastructure frameworks of today’s busy cities. Fortunately, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is gradually taking the lead in modernizing the process of visualizing and turning innovative designs into reality for significant projects like public buildings and construction. BIM is the key to the transportation of big infrastructure systems due to the significant improvement in collaboration amongst the stakeholders, which has fostered efficiency and sustainability. The purpose of this blog is to provide further details on how BIM, using 3D Modeling and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), is boosting innovation and productivity in urban infrastructure projects and the construction sector overall.

Impact of BIM on Public Sector Projects

Public sector projects may be difficult to accomplish due to constraints in funding, constraints in resources and constraints in time. Thus, Building Information Modeling is even more important in such cases. The application of these tools ensures that the interdisciplinary design issues are addressed and solved before the construction project is completed, thus minimizing the losses. This approach will also help in avoiding costly mistakes and still achieving the objectives of the community in the budget and time set.

For large-scale public projects, which often involve multiple stakeholders, BIM enables a streamlined, cost-effective, and sustainable approach. It enhances the design and construction process and thus makes sure that governmental infrastructure projects benefit the public as planned with the right budget and schedule.

BIM 3D Modeling: A New Dimension in Project Planning

BIM 3D Modelling is a modern tool facilitating owners and clients in creating a visual representation of the project in 3D view even before the construction starts. The “digital twin” is a replica of the physical structure that helps and allows project managing teams to use it to plan, perform analysis or testing of designs, and be able to resolve any problem efficiently before construction begins.

BIM 3D Modeling will help identify possible problems, including system clashes or structural flaws, before construction even starts. It also improves communication and collaboration between project teams to ensure smoother cooperation and better decision-making, especially in complex public sector projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Case Study

Perhaps the use of BIM in public sector projects can be best proved through the Cross-rail Project, which today goes by the name of the Elizabeth Line. It helped stakeholders collaborate, visualize complex designs in three dimensions, and optimize construction scheduling to avoid delays and expense overruns. BIM 3D Modeling allows making highly detailed digital representations of the railway system so as to enable close monitoring and adjustments to minimize risks and maximize efficiency in project delivery.

Virtual Design & Construction (VDC): Simulation of the entire construction process

VDC employs BIM Technology to build a digital twin of the entire construction process using strong project management tools. Now, a stakeholder would be able to see not only the event’s outcome but also the planning, resource management, and logistics necessary for the completion of a project.Highways, bridges, and public transportation systems are examples of complex infrastructure projects that often have more moving components, more logistical complexity, and shorter turnaround times. With the help of VDC simulation, the evaluation of different approaches is done before making any decision on the execution of that project. VDC combines the schedules, delivery of materials, human resources, and risk management into a single coherent model to ensure that the project runs as smoothly from beginning to end as possible.

BIM in Architecture: Building Smarter Cities

Using BIM in Architecture is said to improve urban planning and development by allowing architects and urban planners to create digitally modeled neighborhoods, districts, and entire cities. This allows different sectors to test design scenarios, evaluate system function, and prepare cities for future growth. Simulations by BIM allow city planners to imagine how future growth, such as new buildings or new public transport routes, will affect the traffic, energy, and water footprints of their infrastructures, all of which are vital values to drive data-informed decision-making.

Conclusion

BIM technology improves the phases of planning and execution in the public sector for projects and development in the city. It facilitates infrastructure expressions in great detail as well as 3D visualization, increased accuracy in design, and virtual coordination amongst stakeholders. In this regard, it ensures an environment that will be more sustainable, with few delays and flawless delivery of a project. The BIM team at AEO Design Consultants can assist in integrating BIM into your public sector or urban development project, ensuring that ideas are effectively executed and visions are brought to life with precision. AEO Design Consultants is one of the preferred and most trusted and reliable partner for BIM Implementation in NEOM projects being built in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The world of construction and infrastructure development is about to change dramatically in India. We’re shifting away from an era of “building bigger” towards one of “building smarter”. Whether we’re discussing rising hotel skyscrapers, large scale industrial parks, hospital campuses or functional city infrastructure, success in today’s projects is determined long before construction begins. Design is where it starts.

Design Services these days involve much more than floor plans and submitting paperwork. In fact, the built world has evolved into a complex ecosystem of engineering, sustainability consulting, structural optimization, MEP coordination, digital project strategy services and so much more. As projects get larger and development teams get more squeezed for time, it makes business sense to partner with design professionals who can de-risk projects, control costs and help buildings operate better for years to come. Professional design isn’t just a trend – it’s becoming an expectation.

Demand for India Design Services Is Accelerating Quickly
India’s engineering and design industry has blossomed over the past decade, thanks to unprecedented urbanization, new smart city initiatives, industrialization, and a huge increase in global outsourcing. Reports show India’s Engineering Research and Development (ER&D) spending will reach USD 60 billion+ in the coming years with design & engineering services capturing a large percentage of that spend. India has become a leading outsourcing hub for architectural and engineering design work thanks to their technical workforce and streamlined delivery methods.

Accelerating requirements for high performing buildings, sustainable infrastructure, and shorter schedule delivery are elevating Design Services into a key investment decision for Indian developers before ground is ever broken.

What Is Included in Design Services?
Design Services encompass the professional planning and technical design work required to transform an idea into a viable, efficient, and code-compliant building.

Design Services can include (but are not limited to):

Architectural design
Structural engineering
MEP design (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
HVAC design / Fire Protection
Interior & Space planning
Facade Engineering
Landscape architecture
Green building/Sustainability consulting
Project documentation and Code Compliance
Construction coordination and Technical consulting

The design process doesn’t just impact how a building looks. It sets you up for success (or failure) with how it operates, if you stay on budget, and whether it meets the end user needs throughout the life of the asset.

MEP Systems Design

3 Reasons Design Strategies Are More Critical Than Ever Before
Not too long ago, design was often viewed as a necessary evil to get a building permit. But designing with intention is quickly becoming one of the most valuable business decisions you will make during the construction process.

Reduce Costs from the Start
Studies have shown that up to 70% of your project’s lifetime cost is determined during the design phase. Guess what happens when design is cut short? Costly change orders on the construction site. Investing in Professional Design Services up front allow teams to finalize proper systems and materials early, preventing waste and unexpected cost overruns.

Get Permits Fast & Avoid Field Delays
Detailed technical drawings allow for easier permit approval from local authorities and stakeholders. Plus, when your design is coordinated from the start, you can avoid costly “clashes” and field conflicts that typically delay project completion.

Sustainable Design Will Be Standard
From energy star ratings to water reclamation, LEED requirements are just the start of sustainability needs for new buildings. Partnering with a design firm that specializes in sustainable strategies will allow you to integrate these features from square one.

Improve Long-Term Operations, Want lower maintenance costs and happier tenants? Design quality directly impacts your operations expenses and bottom-line.

Key Sectors Leading the Charge on Design Services
Commercial Sector
The days of rigid floor plans are gone. Office buildings and multi-use developments require versatile layouts that can adapt to changing needs while maximizing MEP efficiency.

Industrial Buildings
Factories and warehouses have zero room for on-site problems. That means engineering and coordination has to be done right the first time.

Hospital Design Services
There’s a lot that goes into planning a hospital. These projects require specialized mechanical, custom layouts, and medical infrastructure to perfectly serve patients.

Data Centers
India has become a tech hub and demand for data centers is exploding. Development teams need stellar electrical and cooling designs to keep these mission critical projects running smoothly.

Residential Buildings
Design Services don’t just apply to commercial properties. Apartment buildings, condos, and townships all benefit from design engineering and optimizations.

Public Works
Airports, mass-transit stations and highways are getting highly technical to meet the demands of growing cities. India’ s public infrastructure requires sophisticated engineering and design expertise.

Why Companies Worldwide outsource Design Services to India
India continues to be a top destination for companies worldwide looking for a trusted global engineering & design partner. Indian companies have found the unique balance between world-class technical capabilities, scalability, and affordability.

Clients from across the globe are turning to Indian companies for

Architectural Production Support
Structural Drafting & Analysis
MEP Engineering
Construction Document Generation
Technical Design Reviews
Value Engineering
Sustainable Design Consulting

Today Design Services have emerged as one of the core services contributing to International business development rather than just fulfilling domestic demand.

Design Services Industry Outlook for 2026
Industry professionals predict that the future of design will be technology-enabled and performance-oriented. Here are some of the biggest game changers that we can expect to see redefine the design industry:

Performance will determine the value of your project, not esthetics alone.

Sustainable and Net-Zero Design builds will become the new normal with businesses pushing for ESG initiatives and energy independence. Architects and Engineers will design together to enhance design quality through integrated project delivery. Designs will be created with Off-Site Manufacturing (Prefabrication) in mind to achieve faster project delivery. Designs will continue to bleed into Digital Twin and smart building data for ongoing building intelligence.

Final Thoughts
In today’s market, the “best” construction project isn’t necessarily the one that was built the fastest—it’s the one that was planned most intelligently. Professional Design Services in India are the key to improving project performance, lowering financial risks, and creating buildings that can stand the test of time.

Whether it’s for an industrial plant, a hospital, or a public transit hub, design is no longer a “side” function; it is a strategic investment. At the end of the day, the strongest projects aren’t built first—they are designed first.

The AEC industry in the US is changing rapidly. Companies are being challenged to complete projects quicker, more accurately, and more efficiently. In these competitive circumstances, Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been a revolution by enhancing coordination and project workflow while simultaneously reducing costly errors.

BIM goes beyond the scope of traditional 3D modeling, as it integrates the various components of a project and enables effective communication and collaboration. One of the distinguished BIM technologies is Autodesk Revit, which is used for its intelligent parametric modeling and automates the documentation process. One of the highly effective features of Revit is keynotes, which facilitate consistency in project annotations. This blog post talks about the impact of BIM in the American AEC industry and the role of keynotes in project communication.

Why BIM is a Game-Changer for the US AEC Industry
BIM adoption is no longer optional but rather the only methodology that will allow firms to stay relevant and ahead of competitors. Standards by industry norm, including the National BIM Standard-United States (NBIMS-US), meeting government regulatory requirements, and sustainable projects, are catalysing wide industry adoption. By creating a digital model of physical and functional characteristics, BIM technologies allow teams to make informed decisions at every stage: design, construction, and facility management.

MEP Systems Design

Key Benefits of BIM in the AEC Industry

Better Collaboration and Accuracy
BIM brings the teams together on a cloud-based collaboration platform in which all the stakeholders are working with a single live model. Revit Keynotes are key to maintaining consistency in standardized terms and embedding precision in documentation to avoid mistakes and misinterpretation.

Faster Project Delivery and Cost Savings
Automation in working procedures, early clash detection, and optimization of planning for materials allow BIM technologies to avert cost overruns and delays. With the use of keynotes, repetitive manual tasks are eliminated, boosting productivity and ensuring smoother project delivery.

Sustainability and Compliance
BIM ensures that building design is energy-efficient and makes project firms comply with the LEED rating and other regulatory requirements. The clarity that Revit Keynotes provide is critical in auditing, approval, and adherence to construction regulations within the USA.

The US is utilizing BIM in the AEC Industry

Facility And Lifecycle Management
BIM transcends construction and relates to facility management, bringing a higher level of building efficiency and maintenance. Revit Keynotes provide metadata on the materials and components for further asset management.

For example: Denver International Airport used its BIM tooling for facility management keeping track of performance and maintenance schedules of equipment to keep things running without a hitch.

Infrastructure and Transportation Projects
BIM technologies apply to buildings but are extensively adopted in highway, bridge, and transit system construction. That means some geospatial data integrated with the sequence of construction work integrates with planning and execution.

A case in point would be the California High Speed Rail Authority, which has embraced BIM technologies to coordinate detailed design work among engineering teams to speed up operations and minimize costly design mistakes.

Compliance with Regulation and Risk Mitigation

BIM automates the checks and risk assessments of the project so that proper compliance with safety and construction code in the United States ensures that no safety or regulation risks are incurred. At the same time, the fundamental construction documentation is completely standardized into Revit Keynotes.

In one of the best examples, automation functions of data validation and risk assessment tools allowed BIM processes to adhere to stringent building safety and building codes for the One World Trade Center in New York.

Revit Keynotes: A Small Feature with Big Impact

While BIM technologies have transformed the industry, accurate and efficient documentation is still critical. Revit Keynotes may seem like a small feature, but they play a big role in ensuring clarity and standardization. Whether labeling materials, specifying components, or providing custom annotations, Keynotes reduce miscommunication and improve efficiency.

By integrating Revit Keynotes into BIM workflows, firms can:

Ensure consistency across project documentation

Save time by automating repetitive annotations

Reduce errors by using a centralized database of standardized terms

Enhance collaboration by providing clear, uniform labeling across disciplines

Conclusion

The US AEC industry is amid a major transformation, and BIM technologies are at the forefront of this change. From improving collaboration and reducing costs to ensuring sustainability and compliance, BIM adoption offers numerous benefits that firms can no longer afford to ignore. Among the many tools available, Revit’s Keynotes stand out as a simple yet effective way to enhance documentation and communication, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

As the industry continues to evolve, firms that embrace BIM and leverage tools like Revit Keynotes will gain a competitive edge. By streamlining workflows, improving accuracy, and optimizing communication, BIM is shaping the future of construction in the US—and those who adapt will be best positioned for long-term success.

Empowering Workforce: The Value of Investing in BIM for Future Growth

In present digital world, the AEC landscape advocates for change. Professionals are now adopting powerful tools for each construction stage. From conceptualization to BIM Construction Documentation, stakeholders are embracing technology more than ever.

Innovation-linked trends and workflows are currently leading several industries. In the construction sector, themes like BIM are staying ahead as more of a ‘necessity’ than an option. About 70% of CEOs from the building product industry are investing in innovation for a competitive edge.

Do I need to train my workforce in BIM? Let’s face the truth!

Why is BIM Future-Proof?
MEP Systems Design

BIM is a workflow rather than a technology. It supports a wide range of services, from the generation of Shop and Spool Drawings to performing clash detection. The opportunities for enhanced processes, efficiency, and quality benefit those who adopt them. And in the current scenario, it’s more of a threat to those refusing to switch.

Let’s unveil why BIM is shaping the AEC’s future
The Pursuit of Sustainability
The built environment contributes 39% to gross annual carbon emissions. An increasing demand for net-zero emissions is driving AEC professionals to retrofit workflows.

This is where BIM technology comes into the picture. The simulations help with the analysis of newer proposals. And BIM construction documentation for existing structures drives emission reductions. Predictive maintenance, waste management, and energy usage calculations keep track of the carbon footprint.

For example, an HVAC system analysis and building facade efficiency tools help test performance. The results drive design decisions that foster lower energy consumption and costs.

Plan and Manage Better with 4D and 5D Simulations
Timeline and budget are among the most critical concerns for an AEC project. BIM simulations allow stakeholders to review progress with 4D BIM construction management. At the same time, 5D construction estimation enables real-time cost tracking. It facilitates better budget management.

Embracing Coordination and Collaboration
BIM Coordination Services tackle the challenge of keeping stakeholders on the same page. With new-age complex designs, seamless collaboration drives the project towards success. BIM facilitates coordination, clash detection, and collaboration. Centralized and real-time information sharing minimizes misinformation.

Digital Twin Technology
VDC
A digital twin replicates the upcoming construction in the virtual world. By leveraging simulations and analysis, stakeholders can optimize the project’s performance. The global digital twin market is projected to grow by 60% by 2027, reaching $73.5 billion.

Enhanced Efficiency with Waste Reduction
Precise building schedules with BIM integration are enhancing efficiency. From accurate quantification of materials to coordination, stakeholders are working with exact numbers. Consequently, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

The Value of the BIM Training Program for the Workforce
In traditional project workflows, both teams and clients often face significant communication and coordination challenges. However, implementing BIM Technology helps overcome these hurdles by:

Streamlined Collaboration
BIM is inherently collaborative whereas conventional workflows includes sharing information via constant loop of emails, meetings, and manual data exchanges often resulting in miscommunication and design clashes.

This is where BIM streamlines it all. With each team trained on BIM coordination services, there is a centralized source of information. Any update in the data or model reflects this for all, making collaboration smoother.

Faster Delivery with Accuracy
MEP Systems Design

Imagine spending days on MEP coordination with overlapping 2D drawings only to find errors. Any typical workflow is time-consuming and tedious. On the other hand, BIM coordination services analyze, detect, and highlight clashes in clashes before the actual construction at site.

Thus, BIM is quicker and more efficient. Train your employees with BIM for enhanced productivity and informed decision-making. Holistic training teaches them to extract software’s full potential for faster turnarounds.

Quality Always in-Control
BIM training helps professionals to identify design issues. By addressing clashes in the pre-construction stages, they can dodge costly errors. Trained employees can help maintain quality control. The BIM approach reduces reworks with visualization and detailed Shop and spool drawings.

Precise Visualization
Not every client understands a 2D drawing. And in this tech-driven world, you mustn’t keep them from the 3D visuals of the design. BIM training helps employees generate detailed 3D models of the building.

From architecture to building services, the client can understand every detail. Precise visualization and Shop and Spool Drawings also foster design decisions before construction begins on site.

Better Job Satisfaction
On average, 27 out of 100 employees quit their jobs, especially during transformation. As industries digitize, employees don’t want to be left behind. Offer them better job satisfaction by training them in new-age tools.

Furthermore, the enhanced productivity and efficiency of BIM services strengthen employee retention.

Advice on choosing the most suitable BIM Training Program
MEP Systems Design
Source: Unsplash
What Does the Staff Need?
Before you enroll your employees in a training program, know what they need. Are they more interested in designing or BIM construction documentation?

Assess their BIM skills through tests, interviews, surveys, etc. Understand their strengths and weaknesses to develop a preferred program.

An evaluation will help you curate a tailored training program. Customized training sessions benefit every employee according to their needs and expectations. As a result, it saves your organization time and resources from irrelevant subjects.

Which is the Right Approach?
There’s no restricted style for BIM training. Instead, you can avail yourself of the flexibility to choose from online courses, workshops, or webinars. Assess the pros and cons of each training module to select the most convenient one.

Which Program to Pick?
Several service providers offer a training program. You must check the programs to find the best match for your staff and the organization’s demands. Ensure you measure the program’s effectiveness by assessing the trainer’s portfolio.

You can also let your staff take part in picking the training content and method.

If Buildings Could Speak: How Revit Modeling & 3D Modelling in Architecture Give Designs a Voice

Imagine you walked past a building and you start to understand why it looks the way it does. You see how the windows are designed to welcome the sunrise. The walls of the building curve instead of standing rigid. When you walk into the lobby you instantly feel more calm than chaotic. This is what happens today when people design buildings. They use revit modeling and 3d modeling in architecture to shape their ideas, test them and understand them before they start building.

This is not about the software they use. It is about giving their imagination a confident voice.

When Designs Start Talking Back
When designs start talking it means something. There was a time when architectural drawings were quiet. They just showed measurements and outlines.. Now 3d modeling in architecture has changed that. When you create a structure digitally it responds. If you rotate the model you can see how shadows fall. If you adjust a wall the surrounding elements adapt in time. It is like the design is talking to you.

The design is saying: “Here is how I will feel when someone steps inside”. This feedback changes the way architects work. They do not have to guess what will happen. They can talk to their ideas. Refine them. They can. Understand the spaces they are creating.

The Difference Between Drawing and Experiencing
With 3d modeling in architecture clients do not just look at drawings. They explore environments. They notice details that they would not see in a view. For example:

Is the corridor too narrow?
Is the ceiling height warm and welcoming?
How does daylight change throughout the day?

People do not ask “Will this work?” anymore. They say “This feels right.” This is a change in the way design decisions are made.

Revit Modeling as the Story Engine

MEP Systems Design
Source: AEODC
Revit modeling is like a storyteller. It does more than just show shapes. It connects relationships between things. Doors understand walls. Floors understand levels. Sections understand elevations.

When one thing changes the whole model updates instantly. This means architects can work with confidence. They do not have to worry about correcting drawings all the time. They can focus on being creative.

Architecture Becomes a Living Idea

MEP Systems Design
Source: AI
Architecture is not about buildings. It is about living ideas. Before tools, buildings were just static concepts until they were built. Now architects can test ideas, eliminate ones and refine good ones. They can experiment without wasting time or materials.

This flexibility has led to:
Expressive forms
Smarter layouts
Better user experiences
More thoughtful environments

Architecture is not rigid anymore. It is fluid and more human.

The Emotional Side of Digital Design

The emotional side of design is important. A good model lets people feel the project. Investors feel confident because they can see what will happen. Clients feel reassured because they are not uncertain. Designers feel energized because their ideas come alive.

It is not about visualization. It is about feeling reassured and aligned. It is about shared understanding before construction begins.

Conclusion

In the end buildings may not talk.. They communicate more clearly than before. Through revit modeling and 3d modeling in architecture design has a voice. It explains decisions, builds confidence and inspires action before construction starts.

The future of architecture is not about building structures. It is about listening to what those structures are trying to say. It is about using modeling to help them speak.

The AEC industry is undergoing a digital revolution. Tasks like heritage on-site documentation are leveraging new technologies, such as BIM. Digitally replicating a structure in BIM gives a precise output, but the documentation process takes time.

Enter Scan to BIM – a convenient and efficient way to document on-site conditions. Scan to BIM utilizes 3D laser scanning to record building information as point-cloud data. This data forms the basis for creating “as-is” BIM models. Architects in countries like the UK and the US are using Scan to BIM, especially in the restoration of old monuments.

What is this laser scanning process? Is it accurate? How do we decipher the point cloud to create accurate 3D Models?

Let’s find out.

Why Scan?

Importance Of Scan To BIM

Laser scanning was introduced around the 1990s and soon integrated with BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit through Scan to BIM.

This process is quick and efficient, especially for renovation or restoration projects. The accuracy and precision of the outcome are dependent on the technology and efficiency of the scanning process.

What is Point Cloud?
Point cloud data representing a 3D scan of a physical space, used for creating accurate models in BIM.

The 3D laser scanner captures the geometric information of a building as point clouds. A point cloud is a set of points of a 3D shape or object in space. It is used to create 3D CAD models for manufacturing, quality inspection, visualization, and rendering.

All objects can be understood as existing in a 3D space which can be defined by the three cardinal axes – x, y, and z. Hence, their geometric configuration can be coded through a set of point coordinates. Laser scanners record these coordinate points as point clouds in digital 3D spaces.

7 ‘Points’ of Scan to BIM
The Ultimate Guide: Scan to BIM

Like all great technology, Scan to BIM can only be leveraged to your advantage if you plan the process and optimize the workflow. The process can be understood as seven simple steps:

Step 1: Set Goal
Laser scanning produces an enormous amount of data. Moreover, the record of this data is limited by the line-of-sight of the scanner. It is hence crucial to define the scope and purpose of the scan, to obtain all the information with the minimum number of scans.

Step 2: Assign Responsibilities
It is crucial that everyone on the team understand their role in the process beforehand. Knowing who is going to scan, verify and interpret the data helps with efficient planning and execution.

Step 3: Set the Scanner
Once everything is planned, the scanner is set up and the parameters are fed to it, such as the point-cloud density, etc.

Step 4: Scan, Scan, Scan!
A complete representation of the building usually demands more than one scan, as the information is limited to the line of sight of the scanner. Hence, multiple scans need to be pre-planned in order to utilize the technology efficiently.

Step 5: Transfer Data
The data that is recorded (point cloud) is then transferred to a computer using a USB drive or a cloud platform.

Step 6: Into the Point Cloud
The scan data needs to be composed together into a single point cloud representing the entire structure. Point cloud modeling software such as ReCap Pro is used to register, analyze and model such data.

From Point Cloud to BIM
Congratulations, you have Scanned to BIM! The point cloud can now be used to create a 3D model using BIM tools such as Revit.

Applications of Scan to BIM
BIM helps in generating and managing the facilities of a building throughout its life-cycle. Scan to BIM, hence, finds applications in many stages of the construction process.

Design
Helps in understanding and recording the ‘as-is’ conditions on the site terrain and surroundings. Aids in making design decisions faster.

Construction
Used for virtual installation and assembly, enhancement of construction safety, digital replication, and quality assurance.

Facility Management
Documentation of structures and monuments, building performance analysis, operations management, and space management.

Top 5 Advantages of Scan to BIM
The benefits of BIM and Scan to BIM | AEODC Blog
Source:Research Gate

Saves Time
Scan to BIM reduces the process of documentation from hours to a matter of minutes. New technologies have automated the journey from Point Cloud to BIM. It also eliminates the need for frequent site visits.

Minimal Errors
Decision-making is faster by using Scan to BIM, thus making time for adapting the design to the site conditions and making changes to the project.

Quality
Point-Cloud data is usually accurate and precise, serving as a reliable source of information thus leading to quality output.

Sustainability
With precise site conditions obtained before designing, planning for it becomes easier. Moreover, laser scanning has minimal interventions to the existing structure.
