Day 1: starting the road to backend developer

Hi everyone 👋🏻 I'm Afrin, and I'm starting this account to document a daily journey toward one goal: becoming a backend developer, working with Java, SQL, and Spring, with the goal of landing a job abroad

I'm not coming from a bootcamp or a big-name program. I'm building this on my own -one concept, one project, one small win at a time — and I wanted a public place to track it so the accountability is real.

What I'm working on right now:

Core Java — syntax, OOP, and the fundamentals that show up in every interview
SQL — queries, joins, and database design
Spring — building real backend applications with it

I don't know exactly how long this road is. But I'm posting Day 1 today so that six months from now, there's a trail showing how I got from here to there.

If you're on a similar path — self-taught, building alone, aiming abroad — I'd love to hear from you.
