Finally got tired of the "Copy-Paste" dance between WhatsApp and ChatGPT, so I built an AI-powered "Swiss Army Knife" for Android.

Hey guys,

I've always felt that Android's multitasking is cool, but switching between apps just to fix grammar or get an AI reply is a productivity killer. You know the drill:

Copy text -> Open AI app -> Paste -> Wait for reply -> Copy -> Switch back -> Paste.

So, I built Aido.

It’s essentially a layers-over-everything tool that works inside any text field. Here’s what it can do without you ever leaving your current app:

AI Everywhere: Integrated Gemini/ChatGPT. Just type what you want, hit a trigger, and let Aido write the reply, summarize, or rephrase right there.

50+ Text Actions: One-tap to fix grammar, translate, change case, or even repeat text (spam protection, anyone? ).

In-line Calculator: Ever needed to do quick math while chatting? Type 500 * 12 and Aido replaces it with the result instantly.

Continuous Voice Typing: For when you're too lazy to type but need it to be accurate.

WhatsApp Power Tools: Send messages to unsaved numbers or use quick templates.

Cool Fonts: Switch to "𝖲𝗍𝗒𝗅𝗂𝗌𝗁 𝖥𝗈𝗇𝗍𝗌" on the fly for your bio or tweets.

Shortcuts : Save your address, email, or common replies as snippets.

And much more: As you explore the app (under Special Commands), you will discover even more.
It uses Accessibility services to read/write text in other apps (safely, of course). I really wanted something that feels like it’s part of the OS.

On Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rr.aido

I'd love to hear your feedback or any weird feature ideas you want me to add!
