My Journey to AWS Certification

Listen up, here's my story about bagging the AWS Solution Architect-Associate gig on September 30th, 2023.

With just over a year in the AWS game, I thought, "Why not get certified?" Had a plan to study 2 hours daily – yeah, that didn't stick.

Quick note: This is just my deal, not a how-to.

Despite swimming in the cloud at work, major AWS services felt like strangers. So, I switched gears. Ditched the heavy theory for live projects.

Feeling a bit more AWS-smart, I aimed to take the exam in 30 days. But oh boy, confidence was playing hide-and-seek. First, booked the exam, then chickened out. Tried again, same old story. Rescheduled, and disappointment knocked. Almost called it quits.

Then, on a random September 29th, I thought, "Why not today?" Booked the exam for the next day. No second-guessing.

Exam day came, and guess what? Scored 850 out of 1000. Victory dance? You bet. My AWS Certification trip ended with a win.

Lesson? Plans may flop, confidence can be a trickster, but sometimes, you hit the jackpot out of the blue. AWS certification journey – short, simple, and sweet!
