Introducing Karkain: An Independent Programming Language

I'm developing Karkain, an independent general-purpose programming language and compiler project under the QuantsMind umbrella.

My goal with this project is to develop the language, improve its compiler, and make it accessible to developers who want to explore and experiment with a new programming language.

 What is Karkain?

Karkain is a programming language project currently under active development. I'm working on its compiler, language implementation, testing, and documentation.

Rather than making unsupported claims about performance or stability, I want to share the project's actual progress and invite developers to explore what works today.

 Why I'm sharing it

Programming languages evolve through experimentation, implementation, testing, and feedback from developers.

I'd like to connect with people interested in:

Programming-language design

Compiler development

Language implementation and testing

Open-source software

Helping early-stage developer tools improve

 Explore Karkain

You can learn more about the project here:

Project website: https://www.quantsmind.com

Source code: https://github.com/ajit-ai/Karkain

The repository contains the project's current implementation and documentation. Please check the README for setup instructions and the features that are currently supported.

 Feedback welcome

If you're interested in programming languages or compiler development, I'd appreciate your feedback.

What would make you interested in trying a new general-purpose programming language? Which features, documentation, or tools would you want to see first?

I'm looking forward to learning from the developer community as Karkain continues to evolve.
