What actually breaks when you move an AI agent into production? 🤔

Building an AI agent that works in a demo is pretty exciting.

But getting that same agent to work reliably with real users? That's where things get interesting.

I've been exploring AI agents, RAG, and Python automation, and there are a few challenges I keep coming back to:

Tool calling: What happens when an agent picks the wrong tool or sends invalid arguments?

Memory: How do you keep useful context without filling the prompt with unnecessary history?

RAG: How do you handle outdated documents, poor retrieval, and conflicting information?

Reliability: What's your strategy when an LLM produces inconsistent results?

Cost: How do you manage token usage when multiple agents are working together?

One approach I find useful is treating every tool call like an external API request: validate inputs, enforce permissions, set timeouts, and log failures.

But I'm curious how other developers approach this.

If you've worked with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or your own agent framework, what's been your biggest technical headache?

And if you're just getting started, which part seems the most challenging?

Would love to hear different approaches, especially solutions that have worked in real projects.

Always interesting to see how other engineers solve the same problems. 🚀

Does anyone else just want more friends who love building things? 🚀

You know what's underrated? Having friends who get genuinely excited when you tell them about some random project you're working on.

The kind of people you can talk to about a weird idea at midnight, share something you just built, or laugh with when your code breaks for absolutely no reason. 😂

I'm into AI, Python, web development, and pretty much anything involving technology. But I'd love to get to know the people behind the keyboards too.

You don't need to be an expert. Beginners, students, experienced developers, hobbyists — everyone's welcome.

I'm curious about three things:

What are you building or learning right now?

What's a project idea you've always wanted to try but never started?

What's something you enjoy that has nothing to do with coding?

I'll start with my interests: AI experiments, automation, and finding fun ways to turn small ideas into working projects.

I'd love to hear what everyone else is into.

Maybe we'll find some people here who click, start sharing ideas, and become actual friends along the way.

So, what's your current obsession? 👀

Anyone else wish they had more developer friends? 👋

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking lately about how cool it would be to know more people who genuinely enjoy building things, sharing ideas, and just talking about life.

I'm really into Python, AI, web development, and experimenting with random side projects. But I'm also the kind of person who enjoys a good conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with coding.

I'd love to meet more people here, whether you're an experienced developer, a student, or just someone who gets excited about technology.

No networking pitch, no awkward formal introductions. Just good conversations, exchanging ideas, helping each other out, and hopefully building some real friendships along the way.

A few things I'd love to know:

What are you working on or learning lately?

What's something outside of tech you're really into?

Would you ever be up for building a fun little project with an online friend?

Feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM! I'd genuinely enjoy getting to know people here.

Looking forward to meeting some awesome people! 😊
