I started off coding with c++ and Java, and since javascript is similar I assumes that it would be fairly simple to get into, but understanding how JS works with the components of a website and how to properly use it in a full stack situation is far more difficult than what meets the eye. This is my personal experience and everyone is different, but I believe that JS is much harder to implement properly than other languages.
