I'm excited to share that
My Capybara has been submitted to CrazyGames!

My Capybara is a cozy virtual pet game where you take care of your own capybara, feed it, earn coins, complete quests, unlock clothes, and discover new features as you play. I've spent a lot of time polishing the gameplay, improving the mobile experience, and fixing bugs to make it as enjoyable as possible.

The game is currently waiting for review, and I hope it will be available on CrazyGames soon. In the meantime, you can already play it here:

Today, Version 1.0 goes live — and this Saturday, we're launching on Product Hunt! 🚀

This update brings some of the biggest improvements yet:

🔥 Streak system — come back daily and build your streak for growing rewards
⚙️ Full settings menu — sound toggle, reset, share, and feedback, all in one place
🎨 Visual redesign — a cleaner, more polished look across the whole game
🐛 Dozens of bug fixes — smoother gameplay, more stable saves

But here's the one I'm most excited about: you'll be able to send feedback directly from the game — and get 100 coins for it. I want this game to keep growing based on what players actually want, and this is the easiest way to tell me. What do you love? What's confusing? What's missing? Say it, and get rewarded.

The update rolls out later tonight (just wrapping up one last round of debugging 👨‍💻).

After a lot of work and improvements, I’m excited to announce the first official version of My Capybara!

A new chapter of My Capybara is coming! This update introduces exciting new features, a refreshed design, more achievements, and a completely new way to interact with Capy's world.

🌟 What's New in This Update?
🌱 NEW: Capy's Garden System

A completely new feature has been added to the game!

Players can now unlock their own garden and start growing different plants. Choose what to plant, wait for your crops to grow, and collect rewards when they are ready.

🌿 Garden features:

Buy your own garden using coins.
Plant different types of plants:
🥕 Carrot
🌻 Flower
🍓 Strawberry
🍉 Watermelon
Every plant has its own growing time.
Return later to collect your rewards.
Receive coins, happiness, and friendship bonuses from gardening.

The Garden System creates a new progression path and gives players another reason to return, interact with Capy, and continue improving their virtual pet.

🏡 New Welcome Experience

The beginning of the game has been redesigned!

Added a new entrance screen for new players.
Improved the first impression of the game.
Added clearer information about Capy's features.
Created a smoother and more enjoyable start to the adventure.

I’m excited to share the second major update of My Capybara, my virtual pet game where you take care of your own cute capybara, feed it, customize it, complete challenges, and build a small relationship with your virtual friend.

This update focused on making the game feel more alive, rewarding, and enjoyable for players.

🌿 A New Atmosphere & Visual Improvements

The biggest change in this update is the new visual experience.

I redesigned the background to create a warmer and more relaxing environment that fits the personality of a capybara:

✨ Animated natural-style background
☀️ Soft lighting effects
🍃 Floating leaves
💫 Magical particles and small visual details
🖱️ Custom cursor for a more game-like feeling

The goal was simple: when players open the game, they should feel like they are entering a small, cozy world instead of just opening a webpage.

📋 Daily Quests

A completely new progression system has been added.

Players can now complete daily objectives:

🥕 Feed Capybara
🎰 Try the lottery
🎁 Open treasure hunts

Completing all daily quests rewards players with coins and gives them a reason to return every day.

🏆 Achievement & Trophy System

The new trophy system introduces long-term goals.

Players can unlock achievements such as:

🍔 Gurmand — interact with Capybara many times
👕 Fashion Icon — customize Capybara with clothes
🍀 Lucky Day — win multiple lottery rewards

Achievements now give players extra motivation to continue playing and exploring the game.

Customization received a new upgrade.

Players can now equip:

🕶️ Sunglasses

The goal is to make every Capybara feel unique and allow players to create their own style.

🐛 Debugging & Improvements

This update also included a lot of testing and bug fixing.

I worked on:

improving local storage saving;
fixing progress persistence;
improving quest reset logic;
fixing clothing and reward systems;
making the game more stable.

Small improvements like these are important because a better player experience comes not only from new features, but also from reliability.

My goal is to continue expanding My Capybara with more interactions, more customization options, more challenges, and a deeper virtual pet experience.

How I Built a Cute Virtual Pet Game with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 🐹

Hi everyone! I’m a developer at the beginning of my journey, and I’ve just finished working on a small project that brought me a lot of joy: Capybara Game.

It’s a cute game where you feed your capybara and improve her happiness level. You can choose between 5 different types of food or pick your own snack. If the capybara likes the snack, her happiness level rises; if she doesn't like it, the happiness level falls. Your progress is saved automatically. Keep in mind that your capybara gets hungry over time, so make sure to check back and feed her regularly!

I went for a minimalist, cozy design. The interface is clean and intuitive, focusing on a relaxing user experience that lets the player focus entirely on the capybara. I built this project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
