Every single time I opened ChatGPT for a task, I found myself doing the same thing:

🤔 The Problem

After testing hundreds of prompts, I discovered one structure that consistently produces 10x better results:

🎨 Design Decisions

Every design choice was intentional:

1. No Signup Required

Every "gate" you add reduces users by 50%.

No login. No email capture. No account creation. Just visit and start copying. Friction kills tools.

2. One-Click Copy

Users should get value in under 5 seconds:

Visit → Pick category → Click copy → Paste in ChatGPT → Done.

Every prompt has a "Copy" button that copies to clipboard instantly with a "Copied!" confirmation.

3. Smart Shuffle

Each category has 20 prompts, but shows only 6 at a time. The "Generate New Prompts" button randomly shuffles to show 6 different ones. This prevents decision fatigue and encourages exploration.

4. Dark Mode Only

I skipped the light/dark toggle. Modern users expect dark mode, and it matches the "AI/tech" aesthetic. One less feature to build, one less bug to ship.

5. Mobile First

Over 50% of web traffic is mobile. Everything works on phones first, then scales up for desktop.

📚 What I Learned Building This

Lesson 1: Content Is Harder Than Code

Writing 200+ high-quality prompts was 10x harder than building the website. Each prompt needs:

Clear role definition
Specific task instruction
Useful context framing
Practical output format

Bad prompts are easy. Great prompts take real thought.

Lesson 2: Simplicity Wins Every Time

I initially planned: user accounts, favorites, sharing, custom prompts, commenting, ratings, leaderboards...

I scrapped 90% of planned features. The result? Shipped in 2 weekends instead of 2 months. Users don't miss what was never there.

Lesson 3: No-Signup = Dramatically Higher Usage

Every tool I've built with "signup required" got 10x less usage than free-access tools. If your tool provides value without needing user data, don't ask for it.

Lesson 4: Categories Beat Search (For Now)

I debated adding search. Instead, I organized into 10 clear categories. Users find what they need in 2 clicks. Search is planned for the future, but categories alone work surprisingly well.

Lesson 5: Ship the MVP, Then Iterate

If I waited until every feature was perfect, I'd still be building. Version 1 is live, working, and useful. Everything else can be added based on real user feedback.
