Hi there,

In the summer of 2017, I began working with Microsoft technologies, completely unsure of what I was doing. I was hired as an intern, and during the interview, I referenced other technologies like Java or C++ because my only experience came from my first two years at university. At that time, I had never worked with C# or any other Microsoft technology. However, during the three-month internship, I fell in love not only with .NET but with the entire Microsoft ecosystem. I promised myself that one day I would master Microsoft technologies.

Seven years later, I still have the same dream. I have gained more experience, expertise, and goals, but Microsoft continues to offer me the opportunity to learn something new every day.

Over these years, I have explored not only .NET technology with all its new features and projects but also got involved with Azure Portal, Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem.

Start from where, you are wondering? Well, when it comes to cloud technologies, there is so much information and so many possibilities that it can feel overwhelming.

Start with the basics, the most basic information. Master that piece of information, even if it’s the smallest thing. Then move on to bigger things, and bigger and bigger.

And why not start validating your knowledge with certifications? Certifications can bring you validation of the knowledge that you have, recognition, and acknowledgment of your work.

I started small, with a big dream, and every day I am working to achieve it.

Using my experience, I want to share information with practical tips on how to take an exam for a Microsoft certification, and technical articles regarding technologies and services from the Microsoft ecosystem.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy spending time working on the articles and resources.

Kind regards,

Alice from APFT
