But I do need to understand code well enough to think through a problem, communicate with genuine coders, challenge assumptions, and know whether the solution actually makes sense.</p> <p>And with AI changing how we write software, that understanding is becoming even more important.</p> <p>Coding may not be my passion. But understanding coding is becoming my necessity.</p> <p>That, to me, is the difference between using AI to write code and using AI to solve problems.</p>
