Over the past year, I've started using AI in almost every part of my Shopify workflow—not to replace coding, but to speed up repetitive tasks and focus on solving real problems.

Here are a few things AI helps me with:

Generating boilerplate code for Shopify apps
Debugging JavaScript and Liquid templates
Creating API request examples
Writing documentation
Brainstorming better UX ideas
Refactoring existing code

One thing I've learned is that AI is great at accelerating development, but it's still the developer's responsibility to understand the code before shipping it.

The biggest productivity gains don't come from asking AI to build an entire application—they come from using it as a pair programmer.

I'm curious:

How are you using AI in your daily development workflow?

Has it actually made you faster, or do you spend more time fixing generated code?

I'd love to hear different experiences from the community. 🚀
