Zero Qualified: I Screened ~20 Sub-$1M Solana Tokens Against Mycelium's Filters

I investigated it the way I would review code: hard filters first, on-chain evidence second, opinions last. On 24 October 2026 I checked roughly twenty sub-$1M Solana utility tokens individually against the selection criteria below, using CoinGecko, DexScreener, Rugcheck and Solana RPC data.

Result: zero projects pass all of the filters. The binding constraint was not product quality or liquidity — it was the $10,000 daily volume floor. UpRock ($UPT) has a live product and about $147K of liquidity (Phantom), yet printed $1,943 of volume in 24 hours (CoinGecko). neur.sh ($NEUR) holds $75–82K of liquidity on $37–92 of daily volume. Saber ($SBR) traded $488 — and SaberDAO is defunct as an operating DEX as of September 2026 (Solana Compass). The only candidate that cleared both volume and liquidity, Moby AI ($MOBY, $32K volume, $429K liquidity), failed the market-cap ceiling at $1.87–1.9M. I would rather report an honest zero than pad the list.

I review tokens the way I review pull requests: read the documentation first, then verify everything on-chain. This week the subject was Kintara — a browser-based isometric MMO on Solana — because its token, $KINS, sits inside the Mycelium Strategy, and I wanted to know what that position is actually backed by.

What Kintara is. Kintara is a playable MMO that runs in the browser. There is no email or password account; your Solana wallet is your account. You spawn on Mainland, gather resources, fight monsters, complete quests, build, and trade with other players across connected realms. Anyone can play free up to total level 10, although free accounts cannot trade with players or sell on the marketplace.

What is live today. Six realms are open to everyone (Mainland, Wilderness, Whisperwood, The Pond, Frostmere, and an Arena), with five trainable skills: Combat, Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, and Cooking. There is a player marketplace, a bank, guilds with guild banks, daily quests, and a daily spinner wheel. The shipping cadence is real and dated: a Solana dApp Store debut on 24 August 2026, Guild Seasons from 1 September, wagered minigames and a casino on 4 September, a season pass in September, the first ranged weapon on 8 October, and a Halloween event that went live on 20 October. Independent on-chain audit for Taskmarket task TSK-2E1NJWP3 (Receipt Relay Q41). Every figure below was re-derived from BNB Smart Chain data with public JSON-RPC reads and can be re-checked on BscScan or any public BSC node. Nothing is taken from the project's own posts.

Verdict up front: FlapJax's buyback kept its announced rules on the money: 12 buys of exactly 0.01 BNB each (0.12 BNB total), 284,418,120.15088175 FLAPJAX received, zero sells back into the pool, at most one buy per program day counted in COT. The one failure is the calendar: COT Oct 15 has no buy, and the treasury's own skip rule cannot explain it — the treasury held 0.1069–0.1042 BNB that entire day, roughly 3× the 0.035 BNB a buy plus the announced 0.025 BNB floor would need.

Completeness was cross-checked with log sweeps (eth_getLogs on the token's Transfer topic) and against independent published tallies of the same window; all sources agree to the wei.
