My Final Project

Drone to Donate, Drones find the locations from where it can pick up food and delivers it to places where needed.

Idea and Problem statement

Due to lockdown and pandemic, people are suffering a lot. Specially the laborers who are travelling their way back home from big cities by roads, they are not having food. We built a system that uses the maps to mark the location of people who are willing to donate the food (freshly prepared or left over food) to help them.
Then people can courier that food to the location where food is needed.

There are three main features:
1)Donate food - People mark the location of food donators.
2)Request food - People mark the locations where people are starving.
3)Courier food - People/drone find from where the food can be picked and delivers it to requested locations.

We are planning to use autonomous drones and IoT for this couriers in future, but currently we are only expecting the general public to use our system to help people in this pandemic.

The code here is not complete, we are still working on it... will try to deploy it in a few days after development.

Frontend: Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript
Backend: PHP
Database: MySQL
Map API: HERE Maps
Iot: IBM Cloud APIs

Additional Thoughts / Feelings / Stories

I am expecting mentorship and funding from organisations to implement this project on a greater level.
