I’m delighted to share that I’ve just joined Forem in the new role of Special Projects Manager, where I’ll be overseeing logistics on all sorts of exciting projects and events (including Codeland!).</p> <p>As a conference organizer — of several <a href="https://rubyconf.org" rel="noopener noreferrer">RubyConfs</a> and <a href="https://railsconf.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">RailsConfs</a> as well as Codeland 2019 — I know firsthand how amazing it is to collaborate with an engaged, kind, and committed community. To be honest, until recently, I didn’t know the DEV community very well, but it hasn’t taken me long to see that you’ve all built something so special here.
