How to fit the page size of ssrs report to pdf to avoid the report column breaks into multiple pages

1) open your ssrs report

2) create your dataset and tables

3) click on the report properties. you just need to click on the white pane as shown in the image to take the report properties

4)make sure your properties check box is checked . other wise the properties won't show up

5)report properties will pop up like below

6) as you can see the size option will show the report size . you need to note the width only here

7)here the width is around 15.86 i will add one and make it 16.86 which is around 16.9. take a note on this

8)next you need to select page properties by clicking space outer the table as i marked in blue tick

9)the below property window will pop up

10)make the interactive size and page size width to 16.9 as i mentioned above and margins to 0.5 in as shown in the image

11)please note if the given size did not work, then increase the value by 1 and try until your page fits the size

now your report is all set to fit to the adf pages!!!!!!!!!!

How to enable repeat header in all pages of ssrs report/ power bi report builder

hi, all you need to do is follow the step by step instructions

1) open your ssrs report in report builder

2) make sure to tick the properties and grouping options in view

3) select the tables which you wanted to repeat the header columns in each page

4)from the column groups menu select advanced mode from the dropdown

5) from the row groups select the first static tab

6) you will get a property window called tablix member(make sure the property check box is checked as i mentioned in 2nd step)

7)make sure the keepwithgroup set to after and repeatonnewpage set to true

8) please note that it will work for table . but in some cases like matrix if its not working please make sure to enable repeat column header option in that particular tablix property

And now your report is ready to repeat the header in all pages!!!!!
