Hi myself Asad. I made 3d solar system project. Please see this and tell me how it is. Any mistakes? Anything that i could do better.

 About My Project

SolEngine — Interactive 3D Solar System

SolEngine is an interactive 3D Solar System web experience designed to let users explore space directly from their browser. Instead of presenting planets as simple images or a static diagram, the project creates an explorable 3D environment where users can navigate between planets and interact with different celestial objects.

The experience starts around Earth and the Moon, allowing users to rotate and explore their surroundings. Users can then choose a planet through the Visit Planet system and travel through space to explore it. Desktop users can also use Free Explore mode to move more freely through the Solar System.

The project includes the Sun, planets, Moon, asteroid belt, spacecraft, satellite, and a space station. Objects can be selected to display additional information and visual annotations. These details remain hidden by default so the main scene stays clean and immersive.

A major focus of SolEngine was creating a balance between realistic visuals, smooth interaction, and performance. Planet surfaces, lighting, the Sun, stars, orbital elements, and surrounding space were continuously refined during development. Mobile controls were also designed so users can rotate and zoom through touch gestures.

The project was built as a modern browser-based 3D application using Three.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vite, and the finished application was deployed publicly through Netlify.

SolEngine represents the process of turning a simple idea — “What if you could explore the Solar System yourself?” — into a complete interactive experience that anyone can open and explore online.
