Audi's flagship electric SUV gets improved range, faster charging, and an interior that rivals the best from Mercedes and BMW.

Design & First Impressions
Standing in front of the subject of today's test — Audi Q8 e-tron 2024: A Premium Electric SUV Worth Waiting For — the design intent is immediately clear. Every surface serves a purpose, from the sculpted hood lines that manage airflow to the stance that hints at the engineering underneath. It photographs well, but more importantly, it looks right in person, which is a harder trick to pull off.

Performance & Driving Dynamics
Behind the wheel, the story gets better. Throttle response is linear and predictable, the chassis communicates clearly through the steering, and body control over broken surfaces is genuinely impressive for this class. We pushed it hard on our standard test loop — highway, back roads, and one very uncooperative gravel section — and it never broke composure.

Interior, Tech & Daily Usability
Inside, material quality takes a step up from the previous generation. The seats deserve special mention: supportive over a four-hour drive without feeling stiff around town. The infotainment is quick, logically laid out, and — mercifully — still has physical controls for climate. Rear space and cargo capacity are competitive, making this a realistic one-car household choice.

This is the rare vehicle that flatters a keen driver on Sunday and disappears beneath you on Monday. That balance is the whole job.

— Autowheel360 Test Team
What We Liked
Excellent build quality
Confident handling
Strong value
What Could Be Better
Options get expensive
Road noise at speed
The Autowheel360 Verdict
Audi Q8 e-tron 2024: A Premium Electric SUV Worth Waiting For lands near the top of a very competitive segment. It isn't perfect — no vehicle is — but the combination of polish, performance, and everyday livability makes it easy to recommend. A class-leading effort.
