  One of the biggest obstacles to gender equality in the tech industry is...

&lt;p&gt;Here is actually a little story for this. In my Software and Game Development class at my career technical school, it consists of 90% male (the other 10 or so percent are not female, but identify as another gender). This is a major obstacle, meaning the 90% male make-up. Currently the advertising, so to speak is marketed towards male individuals, this needs to change.&lt;/p&gt;
