How i started My coding journey - From Commerce to Code.

Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming an aerospace engineer. The idea of building something complex and meaningful excited me. But due to financial and family constraints, I had to take a different path and it was commerce. While it was a practical choice, it never truly resonated with me. I was just going through the motions, pursuing a degree for the sake of it.

Then, I discovered something that changed everything, I could still become an engineer just in a different way. Not an official engineer by degree, but through skills and real-world application. That’s when I found coding.

How My Coding Journey Began

I started learning programming through YouTube, specifically CS50P (Harvard’s introduction to Python). The moment I wrote my first few lines of code and saw it work, I knew this was it. Unlike my past studies, coding made sense. It was logical, structured, and rewarding.

Challenges So Far? Not Really

Many people say coding is hard, but honestly, I haven’t faced any major struggles yet. Thanks to ChatGPT and other online resources, whenever I get stuck, I find answers quickly. Of course, I know challenges will come as I go deeper, but so far, it’s been a smooth ride.

What Excites Me the Most?

Solving problems with code. The idea that I can write a few lines and make a computer do something meaningful is fascinating. Every challenge feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved, and I love that feeling.

Advice for my fellow Beginners.

If you’re thinking about learning to code, start today. The future is moving fast, and AI/Machine Learning will be a big part of it. If you have even a slight interest in coding, my advice is:

Start coding now.
Switch to AI/Machine Learning as soon as you get the basics.
Be future-ready.
