An address lookup tells you who owns a home, who may live there and what the property is worth. You start with a street address. The tool pulls county records and other data into one place. A reverse address lookup works the same way. It starts from the address and works back to the people.

This guide walks through a BeenVerified address lookup, step by step. It explains how to look up address by name when you only know the person. It covers what the results show, the free options and the legal limits. Every BeenVerified fact below comes from its own website, checked in October 2026.

We are not affiliated with BeenVerified. BillionVerify is an email verification service. Our BeenVerified overview explains the company and its other tools.

Key facts (checked October 2026):

BeenVerified's one-month plan cost $36.89 in October 2026, per its pricing page.

More than 28 million Americans moved in 2022, roughly 8.7% of people, per Census Bureau figures that BeenVerified cites.

BeenVerified puts the count of US home addresses above 159 million.

BeenVerified builds its property reports from county assessor files and realty sources.

Landlords may not screen renters with BeenVerified, because its terms ban uses covered by the FCRA.

 What Is an Address Lookup?

An address lookup starts with a street address. You get facts tied to that place. Those facts can include the owner, earlier owners, people living there, home value and past sales.

BeenVerified explains it on its Reverse Address Lookup guide. One query "could give you a view into almost any property, the owner of an address and the people who live there."

Address lookup vs reverse address lookup

Most people use the two terms for one job. Both begin with a location.

Address lookup: you have a street and want facts about the home.

Reverse address lookup: you start from a location and look for the people behind it.

The other direction is different. If you know a person and need their home, you want to find address with name. People also call this a reverse owner search. That begins with a name, not a street. We cover it in its own section below.

What a reverse address lookup can't do

A reverse address lookup shows what records say. It is not a live list of who sleeps there tonight. Renters move often. Records update slowly. The results may list someone who left last year.

It also can't replace the official record. The deed at the county recorder is the legal source. A BeenVerified address lookup summarizes records like it.

How to Do a BeenVerified Address Lookup

BeenVerified offers two doors to one tool. One sits on its homepage. The other is the BeenVerified reverse address lookup tool on its own page.

Screenshot: the BeenVerified homepage search box.

Step 1: Pick the property search

Go to beenverified.com. Pick the "Address" option. The headline asks, "Do you know enough about that house?" You can also open the BeenVerified reverse address lookup tool page directly.

Screenshot: BeenVerified's dedicated property search.

Step 2: Enter the number, then the street

BeenVerified's advice is to "start with the house number." Add the street name after it. Go slowly. One wrong digit points you at the house next door.

Step 3: Pick from the drop-down list

As you type, a list of known homes appears. BeenVerified says to "use the autofill drop-down menu to select the correct address." Pick the exact match. Check the unit number if there is one.

 Step 4: Let it run

Once you pick a home, the tool "checks associated records for property details, ownership records, property deed info, sales history and tax history." Wait for it to finish.

Step 5: Open the full results

The complete BeenVerified reverse address lookup report requires a membership. In October 2026, BeenVerified's pricing listed $36.89 per month, or $23.98 per month on a 3-month plan. Its address guide says members also get files on the people tied to the home, "up to your plan limit."

What You Need Before You Start

A good address lookup starts with a clean address. Gather these details first:

House number: the single most important part.

Street name and type: "Oak Street" and "Oak Avenue" are different places.

Unit number: apartments and condos share one street number.

City, state and ZIP code: they rule out towns with the same street names.

If you only have part of it, type what you know. The drop-down list may fill the gaps. If nothing matches, the home may be new or rural. Try the county site instead.

What a BeenVerified Address Lookup Shows

BeenVerified lists five kinds of data. Each one comes with a "may," because records vary by county.

Screenshot: BeenVerified's list of address data.

 Owner details

You may see the "current property owner's name and contact information." That can include emails, social profiles, past homes and possible relatives. Earlier owners may appear too.

 Possible residents

Owners and residents are not always the same people. BeenVerified may list "names and publicly available information about possible residents." This is how a reverse address lookup can surface a tenant.

 Property details

You may see "square footage, the total number of rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms, lot size and the year built." These usually come from assessor files.

 Value and sales

BeenVerified mentions mortgage data and property tax assessments. It also lists pre-foreclosures, loans and lien holders. Earlier deals help you judge what a home is worth today.

 Neighborhood data

The last part covers the area. BeenVerified lists "census figures about population, demographics and average income." It also shows where nearby registered sex offenders may live.

How to Read Owner and Resident Data

Owner and resident lists look alike, but they answer different questions.

The owner holds the deed. Their name comes from county land records.

A resident may rent, share or simply use the home as a mailing address.

A past resident may have moved years ago.

Look at the dates beside each name. A name with recent dates is more likely current. A name with no dates needs a second check. If the owner lives elsewhere, the home may be a rental.

 Look Up Address by Name

Many people have the opposite problem. They know a person but not their home. So they want to look up address by name.

A street-based search can't help here, because you have no street to type. You need a name-based search first. BeenVerified calls this a "Reverse Owner Lookup." Its guide says you can "start with a people search and you may end with an address or location."

Screenshot: BeenVerified's steps and data sources for address searches.

How to find address with name

Here is how to find address with name on BeenVerified:

Log in to your account.

Run a search with the person's full name.

Add a city or state to narrow the matches.

Open the profile for the right person.

Copy their current home from the results.

Start a BeenVerified address lookup on it to learn about the property.

Our people search guide covers step 2 in depth. A BeenVerified address lookup by name is really these two searches joined together. An address lookup by name always needs that first step.

 Start from a phone number

A phone number can lead to a home too. BeenVerified's guide says a phone search may point to "a person who may be linked to an address." From there, run the address tool. Check that the number is real first with our free phone number validator. It shows whether a number is valid for its country and what line type it is.

When one name returns several homes

A common name often returns many people. One person may also have several past homes. This is the hardest part of any address lookup by name. To look up address by name well, match on age, relatives and the city you expect. The newest entry is not always the current one. Compare dates before you trust it.

Tips to find address with name faster

Use a middle initial. It splits two people with one name.

Add an age range. It removes parents and children who share a name.

Search a maiden name too. Records may use either name.

Start with the last known city. People often move nearby.

These habits help you find address with name in fewer tries. They work on any address lookup by name, paid or free. They also cut the risk of contacting the wrong person.

 Where BeenVerified Gets Address Data

To look up address history, BeenVerified relies on public files. BeenVerified says it "combs through multiple publicly available data sets and billions of data points." For homes, it names two main sources.

County assessor records: "property ownership, deeds and permits data for an address record."

Realty-focused information: "sales history, tax information, lien holders and loan amounts."

The property files also include "possible owners, residents, and phone numbers." These fill out the people side of the results.

 Why county records matter

Every US county keeps land records. The assessor values each parcel for tax. The recorder files each deed and mortgage. These public files are the base of any address lookup. A paid tool gathers them so you don't visit each office.

 Address Lookup for Home Buyers

Sellers sometimes list a home under a company name. To see who is behind it, find address with name records for the company owner too.

Buyers often order a BeenVerified address lookup before they make an offer. BeenVerified suggests it for anyone "not sure how much to offer for that new house."

Here is what to check before you buy:

Sale prices: what the home sold for in the past, and when.

Nearby sales: what similar homes nearby sold for.

Liens and loans: debts that may be tied to the property.

Pre-foreclosure notes: signs the owner is behind on payments.

Year built and size: facts to compare with the listing.

None of this replaces a title search or an inspection. A title company confirms who can legally sell. An inspector checks the building itself. Use the lookup to ask better questions, not to skip those steps.

Free Ways to Do an Address Lookup

You don't always need to pay. Many property facts are public and free.

 County assessor websites

Most counties put assessor data online. You can search by street or parcel number. For example, the Los Angeles County Assessor lets anyone look up property data. Type your county's name plus "assessor" into a search engine to find yours. It is the cheapest way to look up address ownership. A few counties also offer an owner-name field.

 County recorder offices

The recorder holds deeds, mortgages and liens. Many offices offer an online index. Copies of documents may cost a small fee. Rules differ in each county.

 Check the mailing format

Need to confirm a mailing format? The USPS ZIP Code lookup checks the standard form of an address. It does not show who lives there.

 Sex offender registry

The national registry at NSOPW is free. You can search near a location. It is the same type of data BeenVerified shows in its neighborhood section.

When a free option is enough

A free search works for one fact. Who owns this lot? When did it last change hands? A BeenVerified address lookup helps when you want many facts at once. It also adds owner contact details that county sites don't show.

What Makes the Best Reverse Address Lookup?

No single tool wins for every user. Judge each one on the same points. These criteria apply to any best reverse address lookup tool you consider.

Depth: does it cover deeds, people, value and sale history?

Freshness: does it show dates, so you can spot old entries?

Coverage: does it reach rural counties as well as cities?

Clear pricing: are renewals and trials explained up front?

Legal notice: does it state the FCRA limits plainly?

Removal: can people opt out of its listings?

BeenVerified is clear on legal notice. Its footer and FCRA notice say what you may not do. On pricing, read the renewal terms before you start a trial.

So which is the best reverse address lookup? The one that answers your exact question. Many sites claim to be the best reverse address lookup. Test each one against the list above. For a deed, a free county site may be the best reverse address lookup you need. For deeds plus contact details in one place, a paid service saves time. A best reverse address lookup tool should also show where its data comes from.

Tips for Better Address Lookup Results

Small details change what you get back.

Lead with the house number. It is BeenVerified's own tip. The drop-down list then narrows fast.

Add the unit number. A large building may hold dozens of homes.

Watch for rural routes. Some rural mail goes to a route box, such as "RR 5 Box 10." BeenVerified notes a physical address may differ from the mailing one.

Expect recent moves. BeenVerified cites the US Census Bureau: over 28 million people moved in 2022, about 8.7% of the population. No database keeps pace with that.

Check two sources. Compare the results with the county assessor before you act.

BeenVerified also notes there are "more than 159 million residential addresses in the U.S." That scale is one reason records can mix up homes with similar names.

 Limits and Legal Use

An address lookup is a research tool. It has firm limits. Knowing them protects you and the people you research. It also keeps your account in good standing, since BeenVerified may close accounts that break its terms.

 FCRA limits on tenant screening

BeenVerified is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You can read the legal definition in 15 U.S.C. § 1681a. BeenVerified's FCRA notice bans using it for "leasing a residential or commercial space."

So a landlord may not use it to screen a tenant. The same goes for jobs, credit and insurance. Those decisions need a regulated screening provider. Our background check guide explains the difference.

 Neighbors and privacy

Curiosity about a neighbor is common. BeenVerified even lists it as a use. But the results are no license to harass, follow or confront anyone. Use what you learn to stay safe, not to intrude.

 Accuracy

Records can be wrong or old. BeenVerified's footer says its data "is not necessarily 100% accurate, complete or up to date." Confirm key facts before you rely on them.

Common Reasons People Run a Reverse Address Lookup

BeenVerified lists everyday reasons on its address guide:

Buying a home: research "current and previous owners' names," past sales and mortgages.

Moving: check whether a neighborhood suits your family.

Reconnecting: find "former neighbors and old friends."

Meeting new neighbors: see a list of possible residents.

Buying from a stranger: learn about a seller "before picking up an item from someone's home."

Updating an address book: confirm mailing details "before you send out holiday cards, wedding invitations."

Each one is a personal use. None of them decides someone's home, job or credit. That line keeps a reverse address lookup legal.

From an Address to a Working Email

A BeenVerified reverse address lookup report may list the owner's emails and phone numbers. That is useful if you would rather write than knock.

A BeenVerified address lookup by name can surface the same contact data. Treat it with care. It comes from records collected over years. Some inboxes still work. Others were closed long ago. The results show an email was once tied to someone. They can't show the inbox still accepts mail.

The BillionVerify reverse email lookup tool.

Want context on an inbox first? Our free reverse email lookup reads the domain, organisation, mail routing and role-account patterns behind an email. It uses public signals only, with 20 free lookups each day.

Then check that the inbox can receive mail. BillionVerify runs syntax, domain, MX and SMTP checks without sending a message. It flags catch-all, disposable and role addresses. You get 20 free credits each day you use your account, up to 600 a month. Unknown results are free.

This matters most when you send invitations or reunion notes. A clean list means your message reaches the people you found. It also keeps your own inbox off spam lists, since bounced mail hurts your sender reputation over time.

 FAQs

 What is an address lookup?

An address lookup is a search that begins with a street address. It returns facts about the property and its people, from the deed holder to recent deals.

How do I do a reverse address lookup on BeenVerified?

BeenVerified's property search, on the homepage or its dedicated tool, takes the number and street. Pick the right match from the drop-down list. The full file sits behind a membership or the $1 trial.

Can I look up address by name?

Yes, BeenVerified can find an address by name, but not from a street search. Start with the person's name. That is how to find address with name. A BeenVerified address lookup by name then gives you the home to research.

How do I find address with name for free?

Free ways to search for a home address by name include a regular web search, social profiles and county records. Some assessor sites accept an owner's name. Coverage varies by county.

What is the best reverse address lookup?

The best reverse address lookup depends on your goal. For one fact, a free county site may be enough. For a fuller picture in one place, BeenVerified and similar services gather it. Check record dates and renewal terms either way.

Is a BeenVerified address lookup free?

No, a BeenVerified address lookup is not free. Starting a BeenVerified search is free, but the complete file costs money. Memberships renew until you cancel.

Can a landlord use a reverse address lookup to screen tenants?

No, a landlord cannot use a reverse address lookup to screen tenants. BeenVerified is outside the FCRA rules for consumer reporting agencies. Its terms ban tenant screening. Landlords must use a regulated screening provider.

Does an address lookup show who lives there now?

An address lookup shows possible residents from records. Records lag behind moves, so confirm before you rely on them.

Does the owner know I looked them up?

No, the owner is not notified when you search an address, and BeenVerified states that searches are confidential.

What data sources does BeenVerified use for homes?

BeenVerified names county assessor records and realty-focused information. Those cover ownership, deeds, permits, past deals, taxes, liens and loans.

How do I check an email from the results?

To check an email from address lookup results, look it up with our reverse email lookup for context. Then verify it with BillionVerify to confirm the inbox exists and can receive mail.

The ZoomInfo login page lives at login.zoominfo.com. From there you sign in with a username and password, with Google, with Office 365, or through your company's SSO (single sign-on). Every account also needs a second step, because ZoomInfo turns on a second verification step for every user. Many people type "Zoom Info login" with a space. It is the same login.

This guide walks through each ZoomInfo login method, the ZoomInfo SSO setup, 2FA, the official reset steps, and the fixes ZoomInfo lists for its common sign-in errors. Every fact comes from ZoomInfo's own login screen and the ZoomInfo help center, read in October 2026. We are not affiliated with ZoomInfo. BillionVerify is an email verification service, and we cover this topic because sales teams who open ZoomInfo every day read our blog too.

Key facts (checked October 2026):

ZoomInfo users sign in at login.zoominfo.com with credentials, Google, Office 365 or SSO, per the official form.

Every ZoomInfo account must use multifactor authentication, either an SMS code or the Google Authenticator app.

An admin resets a user's 2FA in the ZoomInfo Admin Portal, under User Management.

ZoomInfo SSO works with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, and its SAML metadata file must be renewed every year.

A user who lands on the ZoomInfo pricing screen instead of the platform has been deactivated, and only an admin can restore access.

 ZoomInfo Login: The Quick Answer

Go to login.zoominfo.com. Fill in your username, which is usually the email address on your account. Type your password and click Log In. Then sign in fully with the code from your phone.

If your company uses ZoomInfo SSO, click the SSO button instead. Type your username there and follow your employer's prompts.

If none of that works, the cause is usually one of five things:

The wrong method, such as Google when your company blocks social sign-in.

An old password that needs a reset.

A device clock that has drifted.

A sign-in code that expired.

A seat that an admin has deactivated.

Each case has its own section below.

 ZoomInfo Is Not Zoom

A quick check before anything else. ZoomInfo is a B2B contact and company data platform. Zoom is a video meeting app from a different company, at zoom.us. Some people who search "zoom info login" actually want their Zoom meeting account. If you are looking for meetings and webinars, you need zoom.us, not ZoomInfo.

If you want company records, direct dials and work emails for prospecting, you are in the right place. Everything below is about the ZoomInfo platform.

Where Is the ZoomInfo Login Page?

You will find the official ZoomInfo login page at login.zoominfo.com. People reach it in several ways. Some search "www.zoominfo.com login" or "zoominfo.com login". Others use the Log In link on the main ZoomInfo site. A few type "zoominfologin" as one word. Every route ends on that one form.

Screenshot: the ZoomInfo login page, October 2026.

The form sits on the left, with three buttons on the right. A small note under the Username field says "Username can be email on account." A Remember me box is checked by default. A Forgot password? link sits below the credentials.

The screen also carries a Sign Up link for people without an account, and a "Start your free trial, now!" banner. The footer links to ZoomInfo's terms, privacy center and status site. A chat button opens ZoomInfo's support bot.

Bookmark the ZoomInfo login page. It saves a search every morning, and it keeps you away from lookalike sites that copy the ZoomInfo form.

 ZoomInfo Sign-In Methods

ZoomInfo's troubleshooting guide puts it plainly: "You can enter your email address and password or use Google, Office 365, or single sign-on (SSO) if your organization has it configured." Here is how each one works.

 Username and password

This is the default route. Your username can be the email address tied to your seat. Type it, add your secret and click Log In. ZoomInfo then asks for your second factor.

 Google

Click Google if your work account runs on Google Workspace. You pick your Google profile and return to ZoomInfo signed in. Some companies switch this off. In that case ZoomInfo shows a "Social Logins Disabled" error, covered below.

 Office 365

Click Office 365 if your company uses Microsoft accounts. It behaves like the Google button. Company rules can block it too.

 SSO

Click SSO if your company manages access through an identity provider. The next screen asks you to "Enter username associated with your SSO." Your company's identity provider handles the rest.

Use the method your admin set up for you. Mixing them is the most common reason a ZoomInfo login fails.

 ZoomInfo SSO Login

Many larger teams log in through ZoomInfo SSO. For users, the ZoomInfo SSO login takes three clicks: choose the SSO button, add your username, then approve the request with your identity provider.

Screenshot: the ZoomInfo SSO screen, October 2026.

That screen keeps the Remember me option. A Back to Log In link returns you to the main form.

 What admins set up

According to ZoomInfo's SSO overview, an admin can manage SSO "directly in the ZoomInfo Admin Portal without contacting ZoomInfo support." The key points:

Identity providers: ZoomInfo supports Okta and Microsoft Azure, now called Entra ID.

Setup file: the admin downloads a SAML metadata XML file from the identity provider and uploads it to the ZoomInfo Admin Portal.

Renewal: ZoomInfo reminds the admin to renew this file every year, starting 30 days before it expires.

Auto provisioning: with an identity provider in place, the admin can manage users through SCIM 2.0. Teams on Salesforce can instead use CRM auto provisioning, which needs no SSO connection.

When the ZoomInfo SSO login fails

ZoomInfo's advice for an "SSO Error" is short. If your company requires ZoomInfo SSO, use that button and give your username. If it is not yet configured, sign in with email and password. If the SAML file has expired, only your admin can fix it, so tell them the date it stopped working.

 Two-Factor Authentication at ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo states that "to help protect your account, ZoomInfo requires multifactor authentication." The first step is your credentials. The second step proves it is really you.

Screenshot: ZoomInfo's 2FA setup article, October 2026.

If you have not set up a second factor, ZoomInfo prompts you at your next sign-in. You choose one of two methods.

 SMS codes

Sign in as usual.

Choose Use SMS and click Next.

Pick your country and enter your phone number.

Click Send Code.

Type the code from the text message and press Verify.

 Google Authenticator

Start from the login form again.

Choose Use Google and click Next.

In the Google Authenticator app, tap the plus icon and choose Scan Barcode.

Scan the QR code on your screen.

Enter the six digits the app shows, then confirm.

 Changing or resetting 2FA

You cannot reset 2FA yourself on the login screen. ZoomInfo says to contact your admin. The admin opens the ZoomInfo Admin Portal, goes to User Management, selects your user and chooses Reset 2FA. You then set up a new method at your next sign-in. If you are the admin and you are locked out yourself, ZoomInfo asks you to contact support.

Phone numbers that do not work

In the ZoomInfo help center, a two-factor troubleshooting article names an "Invalid Number" error. It appears when the phone number comes from an unsupported country or is a Voice over IP (VoIP) line. Your 2FA number "must be able to receive standard SMS text messages and cannot be a VoIP phone."

How to Reset Your ZoomInfo Password

The ZoomInfo help center lists the reset steps:

Click Forgot password? on the ZoomInfo login page.

Enter your username and click Next.

Choose to get a reset code by SMS or email, then click Next.

Enter that code and click Verify.

Create new credentials that meet the security rules and click Save New Password.

After you save, ZoomInfo sends you back to the start. Sign in with the new details and finish the second step as usual.

If the reset email never arrives, check your Spam or Junk folder first. ZoomInfo also asks companies to safelist its domain, so strict mail filters do not hold back reset messages. More on that below.

Common ZoomInfo Login Errors and Fixes

ZoomInfo's article "Solving for ZoomInfo Login Errors" lists the messages users see most. Here is each one with the official fix.

Screenshot: ZoomInfo's article on login errors, October 2026.

 "Incorrect Credentials" or "Login Failed"

Reset your password with the steps above. Then sign in with the method your company uses.

 "Computer Clock Time Inaccurate"

This error means your device clock is out of sync. ZoomInfo explains that sign-in uses time-sensitive tokens, so "even minor discrepancies can block your login." Turn on automatic time. On Windows, go to Settings, Time & Language, Date & time, and click Sync now. On a Mac, check "Set date and time automatically" and confirm your time zone.

 "Social Logins Disabled"

Your company has turned off the Google and Office 365 buttons. Use your email address and secret instead.

 "SMS Code Invalid"

Your sign-in code did not match. Click Resend Code, type the fresh digits and confirm. A wrong clock causes this error too, so check the time as well.

 "Authentication Failed"

ZoomInfo asks you to email its support team at helpmenow@zoominfo.com for this one.

 "SSO Error"

Use the SSO button and your username. If ZoomInfo SSO is not set up yet, fall back to the standard form.

You see the pricing screen instead of your workspace

This one surprises people. ZoomInfo says that if you land on its pricing page, "your ZoomInfo access has been deactivated." Your admin has to reactivate you. No reset will fix it.

 A blank white screen

Do a hard refresh. On Windows or Linux press Ctrl + Shift + R. On a Mac press Cmd + Shift + R.

A Login Checklist in the Right Order

When the ZoomInfo login fails and you are not sure why, work through the causes from cheapest to slowest. Each step takes less than a minute.

Confirm you are on login.zoominfo.com and not a copy.

Confirm you picked your employer's chosen method.

Look at the exact error text and match it to the list above.

Sync your device clock.

Try a hard refresh, then a private browser window.

Reset your password.

Look at the ZoomInfo status site.

Ask your admin to check in the admin portal and confirm your seat is active and your second factor is intact.

Write to ZoomInfo support with the details listed further down.

Most problems end by step four. The order matters because the later steps involve other people, and their time is slower than yours.

When the Login Problem Is Not on Your Side

Sometimes every step looks right and the ZoomInfo login still fails. ZoomInfo suggests a few checks.

 Check the ZoomInfo status page

ZoomInfo runs a public status page at status.zoominfo.com. If a platform issue is listed, wait for it to clear before you change anything on your side.

 Update your browser

ZoomInfo recommends Google Chrome. Open the three dots menu, go to Help, choose About Google Chrome and let it update. Then relaunch.

 Allow ZoomInfo cookies

ZoomInfo's safelisting article explains a cookie rule for Chrome. Open chrome://settings/cookies, find "Sites that can always use cookies," click Add and enter [*].zoominfo.com. This lets ZoomInfo and its subdomains keep you signed in.

 Safelist ZoomInfo email

Resets and alerts come by email. ZoomInfo asks your IT team to safelist the zoominfo.com domain. It also lists these sender addresses: sender@zoominfo.com, helpmenow@zoominfo.com, customersuccess@zoominfo.com, clientservices@zoominfo.com, accountinfo@zoominfo.com and dataservices@zoominfo.com. ZoomInfo notes that a safelist in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 may not be enough when a second security tool, such as Proofpoint or Mimecast, still quarantines the message.

Signing In to the ZoomInfo Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension uses your browser session. You do not enter separate credentials. ZoomInfo's setup article gives three steps:

Log in at login.zoominfo.com.

Keep that tab open and visit the site where you want the extension.

Click the ZoomInfo icon. It detects your account and shows your initials in the panel.

There are two extensions: one for ZoomInfo Sales and one for ZoomInfo Talent. A Talent license cannot use the Sales extension, and the reverse is also true. If the extension will not load, ZoomInfo says to ask your IT team whether your organization allows it.

 For Admins: Managing ZoomInfo Access

Admins handle most access fixes in the ZoomInfo Admin Portal. You open the admin portal from the waffle icon at the top right of the platform. From there an admin can:

Reset another user's 2FA under User Management.

Configure ZoomInfo SSO with Okta or Entra ID.

Set up auto provisioning through SCIM 2.0 or Salesforce.

Reactivate a user who is stuck on the pricing screen.

A quick rule for teams: name at least two admins. If the only admin loses 2FA access, the fix has to go through ZoomInfo support. A second admin can also cover holidays, when a locked-out rep would otherwise wait days.

New admins should also note the SAML renewal date in a shared calendar. An expired file blocks every SSO user at once, and the reminder email can land in a mailbox nobody reads.

ZoomInfo Support and the Help Center

For login trouble you cannot solve, ZoomInfo points users to helpmenow@zoominfo.com. The ZoomInfo help center at help.zoominfo.com holds the articles quoted in this guide, from second-factor setup to sign-in errors. The login screen also has a chat bot in the corner.

When you contact ZoomInfo support, include:

Your username.

The exact error text, word for word.

Which method you used.

Your browser and device.

When the problem started.

That detail saves a round of back-and-forth with the agent who picks up your ticket.

 Spotting Fake ZoomInfo Login Emails

Any popular sign-in page attracts copycats. A fake message may say your password expired or your seat is locked. It then links to a site that looks like the ZoomInfo login page. Check three things before you click.

The link. Hover over it. A real link points to login.zoominfo.com.

The sender. Compare the address with the official senders listed above. A lookalike domain is a red flag.

The request. ZoomInfo's reset flow starts from its own form. Be wary of a message that asks you to reply with a code.

The BillionVerify "Is This Email Legit?" checker looks for a real mailbox behind a sender.

Our free Is This Email Legit? tool tests whether a real mailbox sits behind an address. For more context, our reverse email lookup reads the domain, organization, mail routing and public profiles tied to it. If the message asks you to call a number, our free phone number validator shows whether that number is valid for its country and its line type.

 Keep Your ZoomInfo Account Secure

A few habits prevent most ZoomInfo login trouble:

Use one method. Stick with the method your admin chose.

Prefer an app for 2FA. Google Authenticator keeps working when SMS is slow.

Keep your device clock on automatic. It prevents token errors.

Bookmark the real address. It is the safest way in.

Leave shared computers clean. Untick Remember me on a machine others use.

Update your sign-in phone before you change numbers. Otherwise only an admin can let you back in.

After You Log In: Check Your Contact Data

Signing in is the start. Most people log in to ZoomInfo to find contacts and export them. One detail from ZoomInfo's own Chrome extension article matters here. When a contact is not in the ZoomInfo database, the extension can show "a likely email address based on the company's email pattern." A likely address is a guess, not a confirmed mailbox.

Before an export goes into a cold email tool, check every address. Our guide to ZoomInfo email verification explains how to clean a ZoomInfo list before outreach. For a broader look at the platform, start with our ZoomInfo guide.

 FAQs

What is the ZoomInfo login page?

The ZoomInfo login page is login.zoominfo.com. Searches for "www.zoominfo.com login" and "zoominfo.com login" end there too.

How do I get into my ZoomInfo account?

To get into your ZoomInfo account, open login.zoominfo.com and use your username, Google, the Office 365 button or SSO. After that, ZoomInfo asks for a one-time code by text or from an authenticator app.

Is "Zoom Info login" the same as ZoomInfo login?

Yes, "Zoom Info login" means the ZoomInfo platform. Zoom Info with a space is a common spelling, though the Zoom video app is a separate product at zoom.us.

 Does ZoomInfo require two-factor authentication?

ZoomInfo makes the extra verification step mandatory for all users. You choose text codes or Google Authenticator the first time you sign in.

How do I reset my ZoomInfo password?

You reset a forgotten ZoomInfo password from the Forgot password? link under the login fields. Type your username, pick SMS or email for the code, verify it and save new credentials.

Why do I see the ZoomInfo pricing page after I log in?

The ZoomInfo pricing screen after login means your seat was switched off, and only your company's admin can turn it back on.

What does the clock time error mean?

The clock time error means your computer's time no longer matches ZoomInfo's servers. Switch your computer to automatic time, then try again.

How does the ZoomInfo SSO login work?

The ZoomInfo SSO login starts with the SSO button. You provide your username, then approve the prompt from an identity provider such as Okta.

Who can reset my ZoomInfo 2FA?

Your company's admin can reset ZoomInfo 2FA from User Management inside the ZoomInfo Admin Portal. An admin who is locked out must ask ZoomInfo support for help.

How do I contact ZoomInfo support about a login problem?

ZoomInfo support takes login questions at helpmenow@zoominfo.com. You can also search the ZoomInfo help center or open the chat bot on the login screen.

Does the ZoomInfo Chrome extension need a separate login?

No, the ZoomInfo Chrome extension does not need its own login. Open login.zoominfo.com in one tab, sign in, and the extension picks up your session.

Vodafone Mail Login: Arcor and Kabelmail Sign In

The Vodafone mail login lives at mail.vodafone.de. That site says it is for accounts at Vodafone, Arcor, Kabel Deutschland and Unitymedia. So an old Arcor mail address or a kabelmail address signs in where a new Vodafone one does. The service itself is called Vodafone E-Mail & Cloud.

This guide lists every sign-in route we could check. It then covers sign up, a forgotten password, the app, server names and outages. Each fact comes from Vodafone's own sites, read in October 2026. We did not log in or register, and we are not affiliated with Vodafone. BillionVerify is an email verification service. If you want a short definition first, read what webmail is in our glossary.

Key facts (checked October 2026):

Vodafone's mail portal names four brands it serves, and Arcor and Kabel Deutschland are two of them.

The Arcor mail login and the kabelmail login both end at the same Vodafone form, as we saw when we opened them.

Vodafone's service text says the web portal and the apps take the customer login or the mail login.

Outlook and similar programs need the IMAP data, per Vodafone's help.

The Freemail plan costs nothing and gives 1.5 GB of storage, according to the same help.

A new account can hold up to 10 addresses ending in @vodafonemail.de, per Vodafone's help.

BillionVerify gives 20 free credits on each day you use it, with no card needed, for checking addresses ahead of any send.

Where the Vodafone Mail Login Starts

Several links lead to one place. The table lists what we opened.

Entry

What happens

mail.vodafone.de

Opens "Login mit E-Mail Zugangsdaten" with two boxes

Link "MeinVodafone Login"

Opens a form for your customer username

www.kabelmail.de

Forwards to the main form

www.vodafonemail.de, login.vodafonemail.de

Both lead there as well

www.arcor.de

Forwards to live.vodafone.de

live.vodafone.de/login

Offers a button for each type of login

App Store or Google Play

Installs the Vodafone app

Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail

Connects over IMAP

Vodafone's privacy notice names login.vodafonemail.de, www.vodafonemail.de, mail.vodafone.de and live.vodafone.de as places where the service can be reached.

 The Main Login Form

The form has two boxes, "E-Mail-Adresse" and "E-Mail-Passwort". Two links sit under the red Login button: "MeinVodafone Login" and "Zugangsdaten vergessen". A line above the boxes says who it is for.

Screenshot: the Vodafone login form.

Below it, a line invites you to register if you have no account yet. The link "hier registrieren" leads to sign up.

 Check the Domain

The sites we opened were mail.vodafone.de, live.vodafone.de, vodafone.de and status.vodafonemail.de. Type the link yourself rather than following one in a message. If a message claims to come from Vodafone, our reverse email lookup shows the domain behind the sender.

 Arcor Mail Login

Arcor is one of the brands on Vodafone's form. An Arcor mailbox signs in at mail.vodafone.de, which names Arcor on its form. The site www.arcor.de forwards to Vodafone's live portal instead.

Use your whole Arcor address as the user name. The second box takes the password of that mailbox. Nothing else changes for Arcor in the apps or in a mail program.

 Kabelmail Login

The kabelmail login works the same way. When we opened www.kabelmail.de, it forwarded to mail.vodafone.de. A kabelmail user fills in the same two boxes as everyone else. Update any old kabelmail bookmark to the new form.

Vodafone tells app users to sign in with a Vodafone, Kabel or Arcor address. A kabelmail user has a third option. Log in to MeinVodafone and click "Mein E-Mail-Konto" at the top right of the start screen.

Which Endings Belong to Which Login

Vodafone's sites name brands, not a list of endings. The help text gives one example, dein.name@vodafonemail.de.

We also looked up the mail servers of the common endings on 27 October 2026. The table below comes from DNS records, not from Vodafone.

Ending

Brand

Mail servers in DNS (MX)

@vodafonemail.de

Vodafone

mx3, mx5

@vodafone.de

Vodafone

mx1, mx2, mx3

@arcor.de

Arcor

Same as above

@kabelmail.de

Kabelmail

Same as above

@unitybox.de

Unitymedia

Same as above

@kabelbw.de

Kabel BW

mx50 up to mx80

Every host sits under vodafonemail.de. All six endings thus deliver to Vodafone's own machines, which is why one form serves each of them.

Vodafone Mail Login on a Computer

Open mail.vodafone.de.

Type your full address.

Type the password of the inbox. Vodafone also calls it the IMAP password.

Press Login.

If a second step is on, enter the code from your authenticator app.

 Two Passwords, Two Logins

Vodafone keeps two secrets apart. One opens the mailbox. The other opens the customer area and is called the internet password. Vodafone says they differ.

Screenshot: the help tab on how to retrieve mail.

 The Second Step

Vodafone offers a two-factor login for mail. It needs an authenticator app, and Vodafone names Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. To turn it on:

Click your name at the top right.

Choose "Einstellungen".

Choose "Sicherheit" in the left menu.

Click "Aktivieren" and follow the prompts.

MeinVodafone has separate two-factor protection. If the app stops working, click "Kein Zugriff auf die Authentifizierungs-App" at the code prompt. A new QR code and a secret key follow.

Vodafone Mail Login in the App

The app, Vodafone E-Mail & Cloud, is in Google Play and the App Store. Sign in there as you would on the web. The service text adds that customer data works in the apps too.

 Vodafone Mail Server Names

A mail program needs the IMAP data, not the customer data. Vodafone says the settings below fit every account that signs in through its portal.

Screenshot: the settings table in Vodafone's help.

Setting

Value

IMAP server (recommended)

imap.vodafonemail.de, port 993 with SSL or 143 with TLS

POP3 server

pop3.vodafonemail.de, port 995 with SSL or 110 with TLS

SMTP server

smtp.vodafonemail.de, port 465 with SSL, or 25 or 587 with TLS

User name

Your full login name

Secret

The IMAP password

TLS encryption became mandatory in October 2024, per the same text. Without it, the mailbox no longer works. Vodafone links setup guides for Thunderbird, Outlook, Windows Mail and Apple Mail.

 Forgot the Vodafone Mail Password?

Open mail.vodafone.de, click "Zugangsdaten vergessen" under the Login button and follow the steps.

Screenshot: the window behind "Zugangsdaten vergessen".

The window says you can create a new secret yourself. An unlock code goes to the contact address or the mobile number saved in your account, so that data must be current. The first step asks for the characters from an image. Then press Weiter.

 Change a Working Password

Open the menu behind your name.

Choose "Einstellungen".

Open "Mein Konto" and then "Passwort".

Click "Bearbeiten" and save.

The new one applies at once. Vodafone asks for at least 8 characters, with a letter, a number and a special character. It suggests a change about every 3 months.

 Sign Up for Vodafone Mail

A new address needs a customer account first. Vodafone's help gives these steps:

Click the button that sets up a mail account, then sign in to MeinVodafone.

Enter your first and last name and the name you want before the @.

Pick a password for the mailbox.

Accept the terms, press Weiter, check the summary and press Speichern.

Click "Zur Logout-Seite", log in again and open your mail account from the start screen.

Enter a German mobile number and a contact address.

Type the characters from the image and press "SMS-Freischaltcode anfordern".

Enter the SMS code within 15 minutes and press "Freischaltcode bestätigen".

Your pick becomes the main address, and Vodafone says it cannot be changed later. You can add aliases. Use a contact that differs from the new one, since it helps when you forget the login.

 Plans

Freemail

€2.99 monthly

€4.99 monthly

5 GB

15 GB

Cloud space

3 GB

10 GB

25 GB

Extra aliases

9

19

29

Sent per day

200

2,000

2,000

Ads

yes

no

no

The first month of Premium is free. Over the limit, your data stays safe, but nothing new can be sent or received.

Vodafone Mail Störung: Check the Status Site

Vodafone runs status.vodafonemail.de. On the day we checked, it listed four services: Mailversand/-empfang, Mailabruf, Webseite and the iOS-/Android-App. All four showed Operational. The help text links to it as well.

If it shows green and the login still fails, check these points:

You did not use the internet password by mistake.

Your program uses the IMAP data.

Your storage is under its limit.

Your authenticator code is current.

Still stuck? Vodafone lists two phone lines. Customers with a mobile or internet contract call 0800 172 1212, free from German networks. Customers with only mail call 0900 512 51 22, on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, at 1,99 € a minute from a German landline.

 Delete a Vodafone Mail Account

Open MeinVodafone, go to Mein Konto, then Übersicht, then "Vodafone E-Mail löschen". Tick the box and click "Unwiderruflich löschen". Vodafone then removes every address in the account, plus all messages, calendar entries and contacts, for good. Deleting your MeinVodafone account removes the mailbox too.

Emailing Vodafone, Arcor or Kabelmail Users? Verify Before You Send

Not every reader owns an account here. Some of you send to people who do. A list with @vodafonemail.de, @arcor.de and @kabelmail.de entries delivers to one mail system, as the DNS table above shows. Check those entries before a campaign, and check any signup form that collects them.

Vodafone lists 200 sent messages a day for Freemail and 2,000 for Premium. A bulk send from such an account hits that cap fast.

BillionVerify sorts every checked entry into a result group.

BillionVerify's email verifier works on single entries, and bulk email verification works on lists. What to know:

valid and invalid results cost 1 credit each, and unknown results are free

a free re-check is available within 24 hours

catch-all entries get their own label and are not counted as valid

the free allowance is 20 credits per day of use, up to 600 a month, and credits never expire

our servers are in France (EU), and a DPA can be signed

you can use a REST API, an MCP server or one of 25+ integrations

We make no claim about how Vodafone servers answer checks. If your signup form also collects mobile numbers, our phone number checker shows whether a number is valid for its country. For other German providers, see our guides to the GMX login, the Gmail login in Germany and the T-Online mail login.

 FAQs

How do I log in to Vodafone Mail?

Vodafone mail login works through the form at mail.vodafone.de. Enter your user name and password, then press Login. MeinVodafone is a second way in.

Does the Arcor mail login still work?

Yes, mail.vodafone.de lists Arcor among its accounts, so the Arcor mail login runs there. The arcor.de site itself forwards to the live portal.

Is kabelmail the same as Vodafone mail?

Kabelmail is served by Vodafone: the kabelmail login is the Vodafone login. Its old web address leads to the Vodafone portal, and a DNS lookup shows that kabelmail.de delivers to the same servers.

 Is Vodafone Mail free?

Vodafone Mail is free in the Freemail plan, per its help. Freemail includes 1.5 GB of mail space and 3 GB of cloud space, with ads. Premium M and Premium L are paid plans without ads.

Why can I not log in to my Vodafone account?

A common cause is mixing up the two Vodafone passwords. The mail login takes the IMAP password, while MeinVodafone takes the internet one. A full mailbox, an outdated authenticator code or a program with the wrong data can also block you.

Can I use Vodafone mail in Outlook or Thunderbird?

Yes, Vodafone supports the common mail programs. Enter imap.vodafonemail.de and smtp.vodafonemail.de, with the whole address as user name. Use the IMAP password, not the MeinVodafone one.

Does Vodafone mail need a German phone number?

Yes, Vodafone asks for a mobile number from Germany. The unlock code arrives there by SMS and stays valid for 15 minutes.

mail.de Login: Sign In, Sign Up and Password Reset

The mail.de login sits at my.mail.de. You type your email address, add your password and press "Jetzt einloggen". The same account also opens in the mail.de app and in programs such as Thunderbird or Outlook.

This guide lists each sign-in route we could check. It then covers sign up, plans, password reset and login errors. Every fact about mail.de comes from its own pages, read in October 2026. We did not register or sign in, and we are not affiliated with mail.de. BillionVerify is an email verification service. For a short definition of mail programs, read what an email client is in our glossary.

Key facts (checked October 2026):

The home page lists FreeMail at 0,00 € per month, with 1 GB of room for mail and files.

The same page lists PureMail at 0,99 €, PlusMail at 2,49 €, ProMail at 3,99 € and PowerMail at 6,49 € per month, each with a 30-day free test.

The FAQ says a safe password has 12 characters or more, with both letter cases, a digit and a special character.

The FAQ says mail.de may suspend a free account that went unused for half a year.

The FAQ names a 30-minute wait after repeated wrong entries.

The help center calls the printed recovery code the anonymous way back into an account.

BillionVerify's account gives 20 free credits on each day you use it, with no card needed, for checking addresses ahead of a send.

 Every mail.de Login Route

Several entry points lead to one account. The table lists what we opened.

Route

Where it starts

What happens

Good for

Web login

"Zum Login" on the start page, or my.mail.de

Opens a form with two boxes

Browser

App

App Store or Google Play

Opens a sign-in view, with a link to register

Phones and tablets

Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail

Your own program

Fetches mail by IMAP or POP3 and sends by SMTP

Desktop

Passwort vergessen

my.mail.de/passwort-vergessen

Resets passwords, login names and authenticators

Locked out

Hilfe/Support

mail.de/de/hilfe

Holds help articles, FAQs and a contact form

Questions

The FAQ "Wie kann ich mich bei mail.de anmelden?" names the same routes. It recommends the website for your first sign-in and the app for phones.

 The mail.de Login Form

The page greets you with "Keine Werbung. Kein Spam. Einfach nur E-Mail." Below it sit two boxes and a button.

Screenshot: the form at my.mail.de, opened without signing in.

A correct mail.de login opens the webmail at once. The first box asks for "E-Mail / Login", and the second for "Passwort". An eye icon reveals what you typed. Two links sit under the button, one for new accounts and one for a lost password.

 Your Login Name

By default, your login is the address itself, or only the part before the @. For max.mustermann@mail.de, that is max.mustermann. Anyone who knows your address therefore knows your login.

For more safety, you can pick a custom name. It needs four characters, and one must come from this list: ! $ & / = ?. Once it is set, the address alone no longer opens the mailbox. Update your desktop clients too.

Stay Active on a Free Account

mail.de reserves the right to block free accounts that went unused for more than 180 days in a row. Its FAQ advises a visit about twice a year. Another help page says a long pause can also lead to deletion.

mail.de App for Phone and Tablet

The mail.de app exists for iOS and Android. The mail.de app login takes your normal address and password. mail.de describes it as one place for mail, address book, calendar and online storage. The mail.de app handles several accounts at once and supports push messages.

Sign In to the mail.de App

Install the app from the official store of your phone.

Open it. A start screen asks for your details.

Enter your login and password.

To add or switch accounts, open "Einstellungen" in the menu bar and choose "Meine Konten". Tap the account you want. A signed-out account asks for its password again.

mail.de says logging out is usually not needed. The device keeps your access, and the connection is encrypted. You can lock the mail.de app with a password, Face ID or Touch ID.

 What the App Includes

The two free plans list the mail.de app "für E-Mails nutzen". The paid plans list it "im vollen Umfang nutzen inkl. E-Mail, Kalender, Onlinespeicher".

mail.de Sign Up: FreeMail and Paid Plans

The home page shows six plans. We read the prices as listed in October 2026, in euro and including VAT. Numbers appear as mail.de writes them.

Screenshot: the plan overview on mail.de.

Plan

Per month

Storage

Sending limit per day

FreeMail Zero

0,00 €

500 MB

25 mails

FreeMail

0,00 €

1 GB

50 mails

PureMail

0,99 €

2,5 GB

100 mails

PlusMail

2,49 €

5 GB

500 mails

ProMail

3,99 €

20 GB

2.500 mails

PowerMail

6,49 €

Unlimited

5.000 mails

The Zero tier comes without ads. FreeMail shows them, and mail.de's FAQ notes that a free product cannot last without ads. A mail.de email costs nothing on either free tier. The four paid tiers are ad-free. A footnote says PowerMail starts at 40 GB. Once you reach that quota, it grows by 1 GB a month.

On support, the Zero tier has none. FreeMail has limited help and no phone line. PureMail up to ProMail list regular support with a phone line. PowerMail gets priority.

 Register in the App

The help center describes the app route as free and permanent:

Download the app. It opens on the login screen.

Tap "+ Kostenlos registrieren".

Choose the address you want and a strong password.

Enter your phone number. mail.de calls you with a confirmation code.

Type the code and tap "Registrieren".

Afterwards, use the new mail.de email and password on the login screen. mail.de says the call helps prevent fraud and the misuse of addresses for spam.

 Register on the Website

The buttons "Jetzt registrieren!" and "Kostenlos anmelden" lead to signup.mail.de. When we opened that site from outside Germany, it answered "Netzwerk gesperrt!".

Screenshot: the answer from signup.mail.de to a visit from outside Germany.

The text says access from the network is blocked for now. As the reason, it gives a spam rate above average in that network. It lists no workaround. Registration in the app is the other way.

 Password Rules and Privacy

A password must have 12 characters or more. It needs capitals, small letters, one digit and one special character. The sign up lets only passwords through that meet these rules.

The home page promises a sparse registration, a pseudonym instead of your real name and no questions about personal data. This has a price. The reset page says an anonymous account cannot use the identity card route. Store a recovery option in the settings.

 The First Login

After the first login, mail.de offers a setup assistant. It guides you through importing mail and contacts from other mailboxes.

 mail.de Password Reset

mail.de runs the reset on one form. It sits one click away from the mail.de login. The same form also resets a login name or the authenticator.

Screenshot: the mail.de page "Passwort vergessen".

You enter your address and solve the human check. Then you pick one of these options:

access through the app or a program, where mail.de leaves a code in your mailbox

a code sent to a mobile number you stored earlier

a code sent to a backup address you stored earlier

a photo of your identity card, only for accounts with a name and postal address

the 25-digit recovery code

a 16-digit confirmation code that you already received

The FAQ adds a hard rule. Only the options on the page are offered. If none of them works, a reset is ruled out for security and privacy reasons.

Set Up Recovery Before You Need It

mail.de strongly advises storing at least one option. After logging in, click the gear icon and choose "Einstellungen". Then go to "Konto", "Kundendaten" and "Konto-Wiederherstellung". You can store:

your postal data, which unlocks the identity card option

a mobile number, which mail.de uses for security contact

a backup address, which receives a code

a code to print and keep safe

 Change a Working Password

You can change the password at any time. Log in, then pick "Konto" in the settings and click "Passwort". Type the new one twice and add your current one. Click "Speichern". The change counts at once.

Afterwards, enter it in every program that uses the account.

 Two-Factor Sign-In and Backup Codes

mail.de recommends a second factor on top of a strong password. Three kinds exist.

Authenticator: an app creates a 6-digit code every 30 seconds. Write down the secret code, because mail.de can only unlock a lost authenticator against an identity card.

Passkeys and U2F: a hardware key such as a YubiKey adds a layer. mail.de accepts keys that follow the FIDO U2F or FIDO2 standard.

Backup Codes: ten emergency codes for the case that you lose your extra step. mail.de creates them when you first switch it on.

The page "Login Historie" lists the latest accesses by IMAP, POP3 or SMTP. If you see accesses you do not know, mail.de points to its article on hacked accounts.

mail.de IMAP and SMTP in Mail Programs

The FAQ offers desktop clients as a second way to sign in. For Outlook and Thunderbird, mail.de recommends IMAP. mail.de IMAP leaves mail on the server and keeps folders in sync across devices. That suits anyone who reads mail on a phone and a laptop. POP3 downloads mail to one computer.

The mail.de SMTP server handles outgoing mail, and the mail.de SMTP login matches your webmail login. The FAQ names these settings:

imap.mail.de for incoming mail and smtp.mail.de for outgoing mail

the ports 993, 465 and 587

SSL/TLS as the right encryption, since STARTTLS is a common mistake

The help area has guides for Android K-9 Mail, Apple Mail on iPhone, iPad and macOS, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, The Bat! and Windows Mail.

 Protocol Status

You can switch protocols on or off. Open "Einstellungen", then "Konto" and "Protokoll-Status". If a protocol is off, a program that needs it cannot sign in. The app then shows "Protokoll deaktiviert". A switched-off mail.de IMAP is therefore a common reason for a refused login. The same goes for mail.de SMTP when sending fails.

 Router Note for Telekom Speedport

One help page covers the Telekom Speedport W724V. Its list of safe mail servers can block sending. If your program cannot send, add that server to the list "Liste der erlaubten E-Mail-Server" and save.

 Fix mail.de Login Problems

The FAQ "Konto" lists the usual causes when a mail.de login fails in the webmail.

Sign

Reason given by mail.de

What to do

Redirect to my.mail.de/hackorspam

The system detected spam sending or a hack

Follow every step on the page, usually a new password

"Login fehlgeschlagen wegen zu vielen Fehlversuchen"

Several wrong passwords caused a temporary lock

Wait 30 minutes, or start a reset

"Benutzereingaben fehlerhaft"

A typo, an invisible space from the clipboard, an outdated password in a manager, or a custom name

Check each entry and sign in without autofill

"Das Konto wurde geschlossen."

A permanent closure, for example after a cancellation, long inactivity or a serious violation

Contact support

A payment page right after login

An open invoice, or a prepaid balance at zero

Pay or top up

 Errors in Mail Programs

Three messages come up most often:

"Connection timed out" means a wrong server name, a wrong port, or a short IP block after a burst of failed logins from your address.

"Connection refused" usually points to a wrong port in the mail.de SMTP settings, or a typo in the server name.

Certificate errors mean the wrong encryption.

For the app, test the sign-in in the browser first. The webmail shows the most precise message.

 Habits That Prevent Errors

Type your details by hand, because pasted text can carry invisible spaces.

Update your password manager after every change.

Refresh all devices after a new second factor.

If nothing helps, write to support with the exact error, the device, the protocol and the time it began.

 Outages

The FAQ on faults names two outside pages. The page mailstatus.de shows the weekly availability of single services. The page allestoerungen.de gives a second hint. The footer of mail.de also has a "Serverstatus" link.

A fault does not always block every route. Try the browser, the app and a client set to mail.de IMAP, or one set to POP3. mail.de asks customers not to use the hotline or email support during an outage.

 Contact and Phone Support

The help page has a contact form. A free account that wants a call can upgrade. The help page points to ProMail.

 Close a mail.de Account

Back up your mails, address book and calendar entries first. Then open "Einstellungen", select the tab "Konto" and choose "Vertragsdaten". Select "Nutzerkonto löschen" and follow the steps. The footer also links to "Vertrag kündigen".

Emailing mail.de Users? Verify Before You Send

Not everyone reading this guide owns a mailbox at mail.de. Some of you send to people who do. If your list holds @mail.de entries, check them before a campaign. The same goes for a signup form that collects them.

A mail.de email can bounce like any other. mail.de's FAQ on the "Mail Delivery System" explains returned messages. The usual causes are a typo, a full mailbox and an address that no longer exists. It quotes these server texts: "550 5.1.1 User unknown", "552 Mailbox full" and "Recipient address rejected". Each one ends up as a bounce in your report.

BillionVerify checks each address in steps and reports one result per entry.

We make no claim about how mail.de servers answer checks. If your signup form collects phone numbers, our phone number checker shows whether a number is valid for its country. To trace the owner of a suspicious sender, use our reverse email lookup. Other German free mail services follow the same pattern. See our guides to the WEB.DE login and the GMX login.

 FAQs

How do I sign in to mail.de?

The mail.de login starts at my.mail.de, or at the "Zum Login" button on the start page. Type your login and your password, then click "Jetzt einloggen". The app and desktop clients take the same details.

Is a mail.de email address free?

mail.de has two free tiers, FreeMail Zero and FreeMail. FreeMail has twice the storage and shows ads. FreeMail Zero has 500 MB and no ads. The paid plans start at 0,99 € a month.

Why can I not register at mail.de?

mail.de blocks registration for networks with an above-average spam rate. From outside Germany, the page showed "Netzwerk gesperrt!". The app offers a second way to register, with a confirmation call to your phone.

What can I do if I forgot my mail.de password?

The link "Passwort vergessen" on the login form leads to a reset form. You can use a stored mobile number, a stored backup address, program access, an ID card or the recovery code you printed. Without any of these, mail.de cannot reset the password.

Can I use mail.de in Outlook or Thunderbird?

Yes, it works with Thunderbird, Outlook and Apple Mail. Its help recommends mail.de IMAP for reading and names imap.mail.de and smtp.mail.de as server names. Sending runs through mail.de SMTP. After a password or login change, enter the new data in the program too.

Why does mail.de say too many failed attempts?

mail.de locks the login for a short time after too many typos in the password. The message asks you to try again in 30 minutes. If you are unsure of your password, use the reset page meanwhile.

Does mail.de delete an account that I do not use?

A free mail.de email that stays idle for six months risks suspension. Signing in now and then keeps the mail.de login alive. A closed account allows no more logins, per the FAQ.

 Does mail.de have phone support?

Phone support belongs to the paid plans. FreeMail customers can use the help area, the FAQs and the contact form. The page names an upgrade as the way to get a call.

BillionVerify is now listed in Claude's official connector directory. Search for "BillionVerify" in Claude, or open claude.ai/directory/billionverify, click Connect, and sign in with your BillionVerify account. After that you can ask Claude to verify an email address, clean a short list, or show your verification history, without leaving the chat.

Until now, using BillionVerify in Claude meant copying our MCP server URL and adding it as a custom connector yourself. The directory listing replaces that step: there is no URL to paste and no API key to copy.

How to connect BillionVerify in Claude

Open claude.ai/directory/billionverify, or search for BillionVerify in Claude's connector directory.

Click Connect, sign in with your BillionVerify account, and approve access.

Start a chat and ask something like "Is this address safe to send to?"

If you don't have an account yet, sign up at billionverify.com first. The connector uses the same account, credits and verification history you see in the BillionVerify dashboard.

What you can ask Claude to do

The connector gives Claude 11 tools. In practice that covers four jobs:

Verify email addresses. One address, or up to 50 in a single request. Each result says whether the address is valid, invalid, catch-all, disposable, a role account or unknown, with the domain's mail server status and an optional mailbox-level SMTP check.

Review your results. Recent verifications, plus totals for the last 7, 30 or 90 days or the last year.

Follow bulk jobs. Check the status of a file you uploaded in the dashboard and get a download link for the results, filtered to the rows you want.

Manage webhooks. Create, list and delete the webhooks that tell your systems when a job finishes.

A few prompts to start with:

Is support@billionverify.com a deliverable email address?

Check these emails and tell me which ones will bounce: anna@example.com, sales@example.org, nobody@this-domain-does-not-exist-bv.com

Summarize my email verification results for the last 30 days.

How many verification credits do I have left?

Use cases: where the connector fits your sales and marketing stack

Most addresses you need to verify come from somewhere else: a CRM, a lead database, a cold email tool or an email marketing platform. Claude is the quick way to check them while you work. Paste up to 50 addresses, or describe the list you're about to use, and ask. For bigger lists, upload the file in the BillionVerify dashboard and ask Claude to track the job and fetch the results.

When the same check needs to run on its own every day, each integration page below shows how to connect BillionVerify to that tool with the n8n community node, Integrately or our REST API. The full list is in our sales and outreach integrations.

CRM: keep HubSpot and Salesforce contacts reachable

Contacts pile up in a CRM from forms, list imports and reps typing them in by hand, and nobody re-checks them. Bad addresses bounce your sequences, skew lead scoring and fill reports with people you can't reach. Before a sequence or a re-engagement campaign, export the contacts you're about to email and let Claude sort them.

Here are 40 contacts from my HubSpot export. Which ones should I remove before the next sequence?

To verify contacts automatically as they enter your CRM, see HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho CRM.

Lead data: check Hunter, Lusha and Clearbit results before you use them

Lead databases find addresses; they can't promise those addresses still work. People change jobs, companies switch domains, and catch-all domains accept mail for any name. Verify the addresses you pull before they go into your CRM or an outreach sequence.

I found these 25 emails in Hunter. Verify them and list the ones that aren't valid.

To verify found or enriched contacts automatically, see Hunter, Lusha and Clearbit.

Cold email: clean the list before Instantly or Lemlist sends

Cold outreach is where bounces hurt most. A run of hard bounces can push a sending domain into spam for weeks, and replacing and warming up a new domain costs time you don't get back. Verify every prospect list before you import it, keep catch-all addresses in a separate small batch, and take role accounts such as info@ and sales@ out of personal sequences. Our cold email verification framework covers the full pre-send checklist.

Check these 50 prospects for my Instantly campaign. Group them into send, hold for catch-all, and remove.

To verify prospects automatically before they enter a campaign, see Instantly and Lemlist.

Email marketing and ecommerce: clean audiences in Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Shopify

Newsletter and store lists collect typos, disposable sign-ups and abandoned inboxes. Many email platforms bill by the number of contacts you keep, so dead addresses cost money every month and drag down deliverability when you send to them. In a store, disposable addresses are also how people open extra accounts to reuse first-order discount codes.

Here are this week's new Shopify customers. Flag any disposable or invalid addresses before I add them to Klaviyo.

To verify subscribers and customers automatically, see Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and Brevo for email marketing, and Shopify and Klaviyo for ecommerce.

 How credits work in Claude

Verifying an address in Claude costs the same as verifying it anywhere else in BillionVerify: one credit for a definite result. Unknown, disposable and badly formatted addresses are free, and so is checking the same address again within 24 hours. Checking your balance, history, statistics, job status and webhooks doesn't use credits.

Catch-all addresses are reported as catch-all, not counted as valid, so you can decide how to treat them.

 Use BillionVerify in Claude Code

If you work in Claude Code, install the BillionVerify plugin. It connects the same server and adds a skill that tells Claude which tool to use for each request and how to report the results:

/plugin marketplace add BillionVerify/billionverify-claude-plugin
/plugin install billionverify@billionverify

The plugin has no scripts, hooks or local binaries. Its source is on GitHub at BillionVerify/billionverify-claude-plugin.

 Already using our custom connector?

It keeps working. If you added
https://mcp.billionverify.com/mcp
as a custom connector earlier and would rather use the directory version, remove the custom one from your connector settings first, so BillionVerify doesn't show up twice.

 What the connector doesn't do

BillionVerify verifies addresses you give it. It doesn't find, guess or generate email addresses, and it doesn't send email. It only reads the addresses you ask it to check and the verification data in your own account.

 FAQs

What is the BillionVerify connector for Claude?

It's BillionVerify's hosted MCP server, listed in Claude's connector directory. Once connected, Claude can call BillionVerify to verify email addresses and read your verification history, statistics, job results and webhooks.

Do I need an API key?

No. You sign in with your BillionVerify account over OAuth when you click Connect. The Agent Skills for coding agents are the option that uses an API key.

Does verifying emails in Claude cost extra?

No. It uses the credits in your BillionVerify account at the normal rate: one credit for a definite result, and nothing for unknown, disposable or badly formatted addresses.

How many emails can Claude verify at once?

Up to 50 addresses in one request. For bigger lists, upload the file in the BillionVerify dashboard and ask Claude to track the job and fetch the results.

Can Claude verify contacts from HubSpot, Salesforce or Instantly?

Yes, when you give Claude the addresses: paste them or export them from the tool, up to 50 per request. To verify contacts automatically inside those tools, use the integration for that tool, for example HubSpot, Salesforce or Instantly.

Does it work in ChatGPT too?

The same MCP server works in ChatGPT as a custom connector. Setup steps for ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code are in the MCP guide.

 Connect BillionVerify in Claude
