Fetching YouTube videos to your GitHub README with GitHub Actions

A profile README is a great way to introduce yourself and share more about your work and passions with visitors to your GitHub profile, and having a nicely designed one is way more exciting than having an empty or a boring profile.

With that in mind, I’m happy to share a detailed step-by-step video on how to create a nice-looking GitHub profile README with GitHub Actions that automatically fetch YouTube videos directly from your channel. You’ll be surprised: it’s easier than it sounds.

Also, the README of the video is designed from scratch, so, it might give you some ideas to implement in yours.

As always, any feedback is appreciated.

Beginner API project with Node.js

We are excited to share a really interesting Node.js project! We have built an API with the Express Framework that randomizes fun facts about cats and dogs.

This project is not only interesting for beginners in Node.js, but it might come in handy if you are building a front-end project and you want to fetch async some test data from a simple API.

Likewise, keep in mind that the entire development process was recorded and is available on my YouTube channel. The video covers the project setup, all the way to pushing it live on Cyclic. Check it out!

You can also check the repository here.

As always, any feedback is appreciated.

Who doesn't love Doritos? I LOVE IT! Well, except the spicy ones. As you can see, the theme of this project is an animated landing page for none other than Doritos!

We are happy to share this project, which may be good content for those looking to improve their skills in web development.

To build this landing page, we used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As for the animations, we used anime.js, which is a JavaScript animation library.

Likewise, keep in mind that the entire development process was recorded (a 2-hour-long video 😱) and is available on my YouTube channel. The video covers the project setup all the way to pushing it live on GitHub pages. Check it out!

As always, any feedback is appreciated.

We are happy to share this Pokédex project, which may be helpful in one way or another for beginners in web development.
It was built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Also, in order to get the data from all Pokémon, asynchronous JS was used to fetch data from an external API.

Likewise, keep in mind that the entire development process was recorded and is available on my YouTube channel. The video covers the project setup, all the way to pushing it live on GitHub pages.
