Smart Cleanup Reminders — Swipify learns when you're usually active and sends a friendly, well-timed nudge to tidy your gallery. It all happens on your device — no data leaves your phone.
Notification Controls — New settings to set your quiet hours and a weekly reminder limit, giving you full control over when Swipify can nudge you.

Swipify now opens maximized on Windows by default.

For month, I had access to one of the most advanced AI models available to the public the Claude Opus 4.8

Like many developers and tech enthusiasts, I thought this experience would fundamentally change me. I expected to become more productive, build better systems, and think at a level far beyond what I could achieve before.

In a way, I was right. Standard gets Higher
In another way, I was completely wrong.

The Excitement of Having "The Best"
When you gain access to what many consider one of the world's most powerful AI models, something happens psychologically.

You begin to think:

"I have access to the best tool humanity has built. Surely, my work will become extraordinary."

The expectations become incredibly high.
Every project feels like it should be completed faster.
Every architecture should be cleaner.
Every bug should be solved instantly.
Every idea should transform into reality with minimal effort.

And for a while, that feeling is intoxicating.

It feels like having a senior engineer, QA, a set of devs, and mentor available twenty-four hours a day.
Then best part was you use it for free with a cancelled subscription to it..

But then reality arrives.
The Moment I Realized Something Was Wrong
There were times when I became genuinely frustrated.

I would provide what I thought were clear instructions, only to receive responses that completely missed what I intended.

My reaction was predictable:
"How can one of the most powerful AI models in the world not understand what I'm trying to say?"

I blamed the model.
I blamed the limitations.
I blamed everything except the one thing I hadn't considered.

My own communication.

The Hard Truth
Eventually, I realized something uncomfortable:
The problem wasn't the model. The problem was how I was using the model.
My prompting style hadn't evolved.
My thinking process hadn't changed.

I expected intelligence to compensate for my lack of clarity.
And that's when I discovered something profound:

A powerful AI doesn't replace thinking. It amplifies it.
If your instructions are vague, you receive vague results.
If your goals are unclear, the outputs become unclear.
If your reasoning is incomplete, even the best model in the world can only make educated guesses.

I had access to extraordinary technology.
But I was still bringing ordinary communication.

Credits and Tokens burned just for a simple "improve this"

The Irony of Human Nature
This experience reminded me of something larger than AI.
Imagine taking a child from an impoverished community and giving them access to wealth, comfort, education, and opportunity for one month.
After that month, you return them to their previous circumstances.

What happens?
Their standards change forever.
Not because they became greedy.
Not because they became entitled.

But because they now know another reality exists.
Humans don't compare themselves to where they came from.
They compare themselves to the highest standard they've ever experienced.

I realized I was doing exactly the same thing.
After using one of the world's best AI models, my expectations changed.
Not because I became a better developer overnight.
But because I had seen what was possible.

The Greatest Lesson I Learned

Ironically, the most valuable thing I gained from that month wasn't access to a powerful AI.
It was humility.

I learned that:
Having the best tools doesn't automatically make you produce the best work.
Expensive technology cannot replace clear thinking.
Artificial intelligence cannot compensate for poor communication.
Productivity tools amplify capability, but they do not create capability.

Most importantly, I learned this:
It's not about the model. It's about the person using the model.
A weak thinker with the world's most powerful AI will still struggle.
A strong thinker with an average AI can produce extraordinary results.

Final Thoughts
People often ask whether using advanced AI changes you.

My answer is Yes.

But not in the way most people expect.
The technology didn't make me smarter.
It forced me to confront how I think, how I communicate, and how much responsibility I was unconsciously trying to outsource.

For one month, I had access to one of humanity's most advanced tools, that someone only rationed to not hit the daily limit.

And after all the excitement, all the expectations, and all the frustrations, I walked away with a surprisingly simple conclusion:

You cannot outsource thinking.
The model was never the magic.
The human using it was always the deciding factor.

Hey again everyone,

Its me again, and exactly one year ago today, I released ClassPilot.
I originally built it because I was genuinely struggling to handle my own schedule. Between classes, projects, and life, everything was chaotic. I needed a tool that was built by a student, for students to solve one core problem: Time Management.

The development journey over the last year took months of late-night coding, learning from mistakes, and endless debugging. But seeing other students actually use the app to pull their grades up and get their schedules under control has been the most rewarding experience of my life.
What is ClassPilot? It’s an intelligent academic tracker designed to help you stay on top of your classes with a massive focus on productivity. It tracks grades, schedules, and gives you a beautiful, distraction-free environment to work in.

Coming Soon (v2.0.5) This June marks a huge milestone for the app, but also a bittersweet one. Version 2.0.5 will be the final major feature update to be added on ClassPilot.

For this grand finale, I’m releasing something I’m incredibly proud of: an offline AI Chatbot system. It’s designed to run entirely locally on your device. I believe that as long as curiosity drives you, learning should never stop, even if you don’t have an internet connection this would be very helpful to an area with poor internet connection especially here in Philippines.

Swipify is an app designed to easily sort, declutter, and remove duplicate photos from your gallery.

How Swipify Solves the Problem

1. Tinder-Style Swiping

2. Instantly Find Useless Photos and Videos

Swipify quickly scans your gallery to flag things you probably don't need like old screenshots, your Ex photos, and even shady documents.
3. Smart Duplicate Detection

To help you find duplicates, Swipify looks at the actual visual content of your photos. It easily groups together exact copies and near-duplicates (like burst photos), allowing you to quickly pick the best shot and delete the rest in seconds, we dont use AI models in here we just use the system hidden magic feature.

It's been a while since I dropped an update here, but I'm really excited to share v2.0.3 with y'all this is the first stable beta I feel genuinely proud to show off!
What's New in 2.0.3:

Class Suspension and Vacant Time Feature – We've brought back the class suspension feature from version 1, now allowing you to suspend notifications for specific dates with custom reasons. We're also introducing the vacant time feature so you can easily see which time slots are free on any given day. This was one of the most requested features, and we're confident it'll make scheduling much more intuitive.

Liquid Glass Design Overhaul – Complete visual refresh across the board. The Manage and Library tab selectors, FAB (+) icon, home screen App Widget, bottom navigation bar, and switch selectors all feature the new liquid glass aesthetic. We've also significantly improved animations throughout the app, especially on modern devices, this was one of the biggest pain points in version 1 that we've now resolved.

Smarter Backend Infrastructure – Completely rebuilt the worker system to handle file uploads and AI reviews simultaneously without server throttling. We're now running with 24/7 uptime and drastically improved response times compared to the resource-limited previous version. We've also made Ember integration-ready to connect across the wider BONFIRE BASE ecosystem. Instant PDF Reading with Ember – Introducing Ember, the BONFIRE BASE AI system that connects across our entire platform. Ember now reads PDF attachments directly in the Chat interface with inline display and instant text extraction. This feature works exclusively with documents uploaded by users within the app, ensuring Ember only accesses academic materials as intended. We've also enhanced Ember's communication capabilities. Future plans include enabling Ember to scrape internet data for research across domains like history, news, agriculture, healthcare, finance, and economics, providing higher-confidence results, unbiased information as we continue refining the model through prompt engineering.

Widget Improvements – Redesigned the Quote display for better readability, optimized initial load times after phone restarts, switched to a highly compressed splash format, and tweaked the widget for better battery optimization.

Enhanced Local Notification Scheduling – Re-engineered the notification system to bypass Doze Mode on modern Android devices. Your reminders will now show up exactly when they're supposed to.
New App Logo Fresh liquid glass visual identity to match the refined design language across the app.
