      <title>How I Built a Free PC Bottleneck Calculator — A Technical Deep Dive</title>

&lt;p&gt;What Is a CPU/GPU Bottleneck?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A bottleneck happens when one component in your PC is significantly slower than another, causing the faster component to sit idle — waiting.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The two most common types:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;CPU Bottleneck → Your CPU is too slow for your GPU. The GPU finishes rendering frames faster than the CPU can feed it data.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;GPU Bottleneck** → Your GPU is too slow for your CPU. The CPU is sending data faster than the GPU can render it.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Neither is ideal. The goal is &lt;strong&gt;balance&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Why I Built This Tool&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Existing bottleneck tools were either:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Too complicated for beginners&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Outdated (missing RTX 4000/5000 series and latest CPUs)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Full of ads and paywalls&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I wanted something clean, fast, and free** — with no signup required.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;UserBenchmark GPU scores&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3DMark results&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Real gaming FPS data from Digital Foundry and TechPowerUp&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Each CPU and GPU was assigned a &lt;strong&gt;normalized performance score&lt;/strong&gt; on a scale of 0–100.&lt;br&gt;
