Hello *everyone *👋

I’m excited to write my first post here on Dev.to as a new developer. I’m just starting my journey in software development, and I wanted to share a little about where I am right now and what I’m learning.

Why I Started Coding

I started learning programming because I was always curious about how websites and apps actually work behind the scenes. Every time I used an app, I used to think: How is this built? How does everything connect?

That curiosity pushed me to start learning coding step by step.

What I’m Learning Right Now

At the moment, I’m focusing on the basics:

HTML & CSS for building simple web pages
JavaScript for adding interactivity
Understanding how the web works (frontend vs backend)
Practicing small projects to build confidence

It’s not always easy, and sometimes things don’t work the way I expect. But solving errors has become part of the learning process.

My Biggest Challenge So Far

One of the biggest challenges for me is debugging. Sometimes a small missing symbol or a wrong line can break everything. At first it felt frustrating, but now I’m starting to enjoy figuring it out step by step.

I realized that debugging is not a failure—it’s part of learning.

What I’ve Learned About Coding So Far

Even though I’m just starting, I’ve already learned a few important things:

Consistency matters more than speed
Small projects are more useful than just watching tutorials
It’s okay to get stuck—Google is a developer’s best friend 😄
Practice is the real teacher
My Goal

My goal is to become a skilled developer who can build real-world projects and contribute to open-source. I know the journey will take time, but I’m ready to keep going step by step.

Final Thoughts

I’m still at the beginning of my journey, but I’m excited to keep learning and sharing my progress here on Dev.to. If you’re also a beginner, let’s keep learning together.

Thanks for reading!
