When reviewing English → Simplified Chinese ecommerce/app locales:

Keys: left side and right side key sets must match.
Placeholders: {{ code }}, {{ date }}, {{ count }} — same tokens, same count. A draft that turns {{ code }} into {{ coupon }} is a hard fail.
HTML: preserve href targets. Sign in linking to /account/login must not become /account/register.
Ships vs delivery: source Ships in 3–5 business days → 发货 + 工作日; do not “helpfully” rewrite as 送达.
Negations: was not changed, non-refundable, does not show, cannot be shipped, agree — watch for flips.
Return vs refund: Request a return within 14 days of delivery is not “完成退款 after 发货”.
Final sale: translate the return ineligibility as 此商品售出后不可退货. Do not infer 特卖 or a markdown/sale narrative from the English “final sale”.
Back in stock notifications: 到货提醒 / 补货通知 — not logistics “delivery arrived”.

Tooling can verify keys/placeholders/HTML. It cannot replace reading for money and legal-adjacent meaning. Correct only to the given source; don’t author new refund law.

QC protects the carton. It does not protect the wire.

If you import from China and pay by bank transfer (T/T), the failure mode that quietly kills small buyers is paying the wrong entity — wrong beneficiary name, chop that does not line up across docs, or a last-minute “new account / sister company” request after samples already passed.

The three gates before first wire

1. Beneficiary name = contracted company (exact)

Compare character-by-character:

Name on signed contract / PO
Bank beneficiary on remittance details
English name on the PI (if any)

Hold if the account is under a personal name for a company order, the English name is “almost” the same, or they ask you to pay a sister company / agent without a clean written reason.

2. Chop / seal consistency

Check that the company seal story matches across:

Contract
Invoice / PI
Business license photos they already shared

Ask for a clear photo of the chop on those same docs — not only a flat PDF. A usable English ask:

Please confirm the account name matches our contract company character-by-character, and send a clear photo of the company chop on the same docs.

3. No sudden payee change after samples are fine

“Account under maintenance — pay this other account today” is a stop, not an admin update. Re-run full verification or walk.
