      <title>Nevertheless, Claire Coded</title>

  I began coding because...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At aged 10, I deleted the autoexec.bat file on my family's new PC... my mum said either I fixed it or we'd have no computer, so I hacked away until I had it fixed and was hooked!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Being from a small country town in Australia, being a coder was unusual, let alone a girl coder! But I never really thought it was that out there, until I got to uni and into the workforce and realised how few of us there are!&lt;/p&gt;

  I'm excited about...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Front end development! So many cool frameworks and tools, lots of fun toys to play with!&lt;/p&gt;

  My advice for other women who code is...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Always be encouraging to others and generous with your time. &lt;/p&gt;
