&lt;p&gt;The Bitcoin Core RPC protocol communicates using HTTP POST requests containing a JSON-RPC 2.0 payload, authenticated via HTTP Basic Authentication.&lt;/p&gt;

  Handling Unpredictable API Payloads

&lt;p&gt;One common pain point in Bitcoin Core integration is the subtle structural variance in RPC outputs. For example, calling &lt;code&gt;getwalletinfo&lt;/code&gt; on an unnamed or empty wallet on Regtest can return a response where the &lt;code&gt;walletname&lt;/code&gt; field is empty and fields like &lt;code&gt;balance&lt;/code&gt; or &lt;code&gt;txcount&lt;/code&gt; are completely absent.&lt;/p&gt;
